Andyp repaired mine for a small fee, admittedly some time ago now.

Might be worth a pm, you never know.

AndyP repaired mine too and it works perfectly since his deft touch :thumbup1:

Yup - drop AndyP a PM mate!

I have about 3 non-working clocks after obtaining the odd replacement over the years.... And must get around to asking Andy to fix them sometime - as the latest one will no doubt go bad before too long...

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Here for the OEM fix:

That is nonsense, that has never been the cause of any clock I have ever fixed, in fact on occasion I have had to repair the damage someone has done trying it.

All you need to do, as I have said a number of times before, is resolder every joint on the board, taking special care to do the ones that link both sides of the board, including the ones under the display. Which does mean you have to remove the display.

Those US states that have 'inspections' don't require handbrake to have the adjustment check that we do at MoT time which is why many 'ebrakes' as they call them point to the sky.....it's a neglected part. I couldn't live with it looking like that even if it wasn't an MoT requirement.

Some states don't even have an inspection or a smog test. You can just keep on driving it regardless.
