Wondering if anyone had first had first hand experience of the differences of a TT zed with a lightened flywheel? Z1 have the exedy hyper twin carbon clutch and flywheel on sale which is apparently 90% lighter than stock or somethgin ridiculous.
i have read that it is one of the best upgrades to transform the feel of the car and it will be able to transfer power much quicker due to inertia. I imagine revving more freely etc.
After deciding not to buy a used exedy hyper twin for £250 due to a unknown history and condition the Z1 option is looking pretty good to be honest!
The 2017 plan is as follows:
- Install 99 spec bumper, spoiler and skirts.
- Finish interior (rear seats to do and some more alcantara and maybe dash retrim test etc)

- dual selin, intercoolers, and remap.
- possibly clutch/flywheel based on above.
