16 years ago in an episode of the Simpsons they predicted Trump would be President! Has America gone mad or am I missing something?

Unfortunately, other then the independent running, the only other nominee was Hilary Clinton, now I'm no fan of 'The Donald', but I can't stand Hillary. She has consistently lied to the American people and if she were a regular civilian, there's no doubt she'd have ended up in jail. It's no coincidence that a huge number of her team are either married to high profile people in the mainstream US media or have massive stakes in it. Various people over the years involved in her indictment have mysteriously vanished or had their lives ended. There's more to it that we ever learn about over here.

 

Donald is a ****, but Hilary is a corrupt (as are the Clinton family). The American people don't nominate who's standing for which party - they only get the choice at the end of it all. So they basically got to choose which leg to cut off first.

Sick of hearing about this, really. Both terrible candidates, but as outsiders, I think we should be glad they've chosen the one less likely to restart the Cold War!

This is the question they and the world have been asking for quite some time!

 

At the end of the day, all US Presidents are are just spokespeople for their party and ultimately for the country. Despite both of them being such awful candidates, anything they want to do still has get voted on in congress. Trump might want to force Mexico to build a wall for example and all manner of other retarded things he's said - in reality, they're not things that will ever happen. It's partly why Obama has been so unpopular, many of the things he promised in his 2 campaigns have never materialised. Only one that really sticks out that did and that's Obamacare which is HUGELY unpopular across the US and is likely to be abolished.

So say it was obviously going to happen is dismissive but it was always likely. Hopefully it's positive news for Britain.

I think I commented on FB the other day, that it'd be like choosing between herpes and syphilis. Sadly, Trump is the herpes to Clinton's syphilis. IE the (very slightly) lesser of two evils....:lol:

I think out of any US Presidents in recent times, I am sure someone is going to try and put a cap in his ass live on TV! I wonder what Lee Harvey Oswald would make of it all!
