Pretty much as per the title.

I guess the benefits are sealed underneath against moisture etc, but are there any negative aspects of this process?

It's ugly and a messy job, but I still did it on mine.

I guess my concern was in regards work carried out on the afterwards. Does a proper underseal cover components or assemblies that may have to be worked on? Apologies if this is a daft questions I just imaged a car covered underneath would mask certain things.

It shouldn't, if it's done properly.

it should only go on chassis putting on subframes and the rest of the parts it a pure clown job, the issues you have under sealing any car of this age is you can hide a lot of bad stuff ie rust am pretty sure there is plenty of 300zx rolling round with under seal hiding all kinds of stuff and the owner does not know, unless you are 100 sure there is good metal there then the under seal should not be put on ,so inspect all over i used a wheel on a grinder to have a look first but i have gone to the extreme with the under side of mine,

Don't use the crap that stays soft and tacky! It's horrible to work with when you do jobs later on, there are plenty of products that dry to the touch and provide excellent protection.

Any recommendations of what's good and what's not?
