Hi Josh, great looking car. I just bought a manual a few weeks ago but I wish I had bought an auto now ...doh !!

I was originally planning on buying an auto but changed my mind to a manual as they seemed more popular and sought after. I am a bit of a lazy driver and prefer cruising rather than outright speed...yes I am old and approaching half a century !! My boy racing days are behind me.

I maybe back in the market if I decide to sell For an auto...so will keep you updated.

Good luck with sale

Doh!

If you wanted an auto to cruise around in you should have bought an auto lol!

In the context of the club, the manuals are more sought after.... But if a manual doesn't fit what you want then why you should have stuck to your guns.

As some of u know I have an auto & enjoy it as much as a manwel box!

Not really understand the sort after manual?

As said maybe my age, but drop the auto into 2nd then drive & then o/d & it goes some!!!!image.jpeg

Correct! A good price as I imported my 91 Z.

All my costs sum up more than this.

It just looks tatty, right hand rear quarter trim inside ripped, seats look worn, steering wheel is rough, roof trims look suspect, boot plastics look tired, something odd going on with front arches, something on rear panel Below left light. Not saying that none of this is repairable it's just not a high grade car at present.

I bought a 1996 model (NA admittedly) but that had none of these issues and it wasn't 6k.

In regards to the inside rear quarter Its not ripped its sagged and show me a zed where the same hasnt happened, its very common for them to sag and most just have it re-covered which it will once in, steering wheel wear its done 78,000 miles and is 21 years old...hardly going to be showroom again with the boot plastics theres some light marks nothing major and a bit of trim restorer wont solve, rear panel below the ligh is bird droppings! Front arches have got protectors on which i agree look crap and will be removed! It scored a grade 3.5 at auction which is in very good condition!, its £6k chris because its coming direct from japan and its a turbo model!

Respect all that mate, but mine didn't have any of those issues, mine had only just came from Japan too, no uk owners when I bought it 33000km on the clock and again it wasn't 6k.

I haven't inspected the car obviously, but my opinion judged on current pictures and without any work u plan to do once it's in the uk is it's not high grade that's all.

Being Devil's advocate, there's a big difference between TT values and NA values generally.

What would you value it at Chris?

Whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

It's value wasn't my point, it's just not what I would categorise as high grade, I would have waited until the car arrives and viewed with my own opinions before advertising based on someone else's.

I think people are too willing to pay good money for poor quality cars these days, it will most likely sell for the asking price regardless.

As Joel pointed out a bit off topic now so I'll retire to the workshop.

Christ a few years ago i sold my completely rust free z32 manual tt import with 99 spec kit, engine mods, ecu etc for 1k and i struggled to get that! what's happened to the prices?!

Still rising bud

i was thinking of getting another, but the 4k more you pay now doesn't improve their issues any lol

Same with anything classic and jap a few years ago you could pick up a nice s14a for £2500 now they're asking £6,000 +

Very much so. Infact the price of all 80s and 90s legends are rocketing. I remember when you could get a 2.8i Capri for scrap value, now, well, you can't. Even the humble, no, I will say what I think, hateful chav box the Vauxhall nova is climbing in value. The Z32 should have always been as well valued as the skyline or supra and that gap is starting to close.
