LOL - maybe Chris.... But I have to be at work tomorrow - plus I no longer have the inclination to crawl around under the bonnet of a car myself...

I did think of driving down in one of the other cars, but then I'd not be able to park up with you all. And I'm too damned tight to shell out the full admission for us both, when it'd only be £10 if I was in the Zed....

Hey Richard, you and I aren't a million miles apart.. I've got a spare set of hoses from the stuff changed on my Z recently, I'm more than happy to give you a hand to get the hose changed mate?? I'm fine with laying on my back, in fact I'm pro at it, you ask my wife...

If I can help you get up and running to get there mate, I'm happy to help..

Sadly I can't get there due to turbo issues and that's not as straight forward as a coolant hose..

If you want a hand, give me a shout Richard..

Hi all....... Unfortunately I will be unable to join you now as my ABS sensor has failed on the N/S when I removed it to rebuild the suspension......

So No MOT...... I am gutted....... Paid for B&B and tickets for event as well......

Russ

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

Not looking good for me, wiper motor not turned up yet (good old Royal Mail) and i've just broken the wiper arm where it fits the motor

I could probably go with no wipers but its a fair drive for me and can I trust the Briitish weather??

Get some RainX (or similar) For your windscreen if your wiper motor doesn't arrive, or even if if does, it's an awesome product

It wouldn't stop me going :thumbup1:

Panic over problem sorted, big thanks to Tomomontana who let me pop over and raid his parts car.

See you at Tesco's 8.00am

Oh and I've got an oem radiator too

Thanks for the offer Paul...!

I was trying to locate he leak again when I got home today. It's displaying similar symptoms to when the water pump went bad a couple of years ago - IE not leaking so much with the engine running, but pouring out when switched off - quite literally as I pour into the radiator it falls out the bottom. But this time, there's no trace of coolant on the lower drive belts - well, not that I can see. And whilst I won't eliminate something just because it's new(ish) - could a brand new Nissan 'pump have really gone south again after

My garage will happily take the car back in next week for another look, but they are not ZX experts. So I'm now thinking of getting the RAC to drop it off at Jimmer's - probably best I don't try to drive 100 miles to Bristol with coolant dripping out of the system:oops:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

And sorry to hear that Paul.... It seemed fine when you were chasing me along the M69 a couple of weeks ago mate....

Hope you get your issue sorted too,

It's booked in with doctor dent and I'm waiting for two shiny turbos to arrive from midland turbos next week.. What the hell hey, it's only money!!

Lee is going to pull the engine and whilst he's got it out, the engine bay is gonna get a good cleaning and the new turbos with the 360 uprated bearings and seals will be hung in place if the 26 year old poopers that are now defunct..

Got some new pcv valves coming too.. Not sure yet if I'm gonna delete the pcvs but the new ones are coming just incase I keep them there.. By the end of this visit to lee, the car should be in top form.. Just got to source a cat back exhaust and decide if the cats should go back in or not..

I'm thinking that if I put the cats back and delete the middle boxes, i may be able to retain the back pressure to relieve the turbo seals and still get a little more free flow through the exhaust and a nice sound too..

Anyone have an opinion on this? I'd like to keep the decats but after the turbo seals failed due to removal of the cats, I'm wondering if I'm asking for trouble by not reinstalling them when the new tubs go on..

If anyone has any helpful opinions, I'd welcome them right now as I simply can't afford another expensive failure right now..

I've almost had to stand under a red light to afford the turbo replacement!

Thanks in advance for your help and advice people..
