I really like that actually.

I really like that actually.

It was a great little car...but no good for a growing family at the time:)

If I remember rightly at the time it was quoted for being faster than the xr3i,witch was a big thing back in the day... Lol

1999 Peugeot 306 1.6 Auto... and I absolutely loved it.

A Citroën 2cv. Probably the most fun car I've ever driven... You don't go around islands you just go over them.

1986 Fiat Uno Turbo ie.

I liked it so much I ended up with 10 Uno's over the years for breaker cars etc. I actually still had an Uno Turbo when I bought my 1st Z32! I don't have any pictures of my first 9 but this is what my first one looked like. Unfortunately it ended up in a scrap yard, my 10th (technically living the spirit of my 1st) is seen behind the Z in the next pic:

No, that's was just a standard bodied UK spec car, I sold that in 2007 because of rust, smokey turbos and an auto box. I'm not sure if it was rescued and put back on the road, it certainly wasn't with that registration. I bought a replacement in 2007 which is a JDM import.

At 17 i bought a friends 1.6S mk2 Capri, it was a deep blue with no decals and had a front spoiler added, it was a 1976 plated r reg.

But it was my 2nd car that i truly adored, a mk3 2.0 Ghia in green....CCP 367V.....like the 1980 one below, i would only of been 18 at the time, so the car would of been in only it's 6th year.

Ah the Ford Capri, my misspent youth saw me in a fair few over the years, including a 4 speed 2.8i and my favourite a Mk2 3.0 Ghia auto.

One of the cars that i totally longed for but for some reason i never owned was one of these below, a fiesta supersport.

If one came up today i would find it incredibly hard to say no. Went to view one once but got there a touch too late and the guy 15 mins in font of me purchased and iirc he paid the full asking of £2400, this was probably in 1987.

You'd have to dig deep into those pockets to get one of them beauties now!

Mine was a 1.0L Peugeot 106 in a dark blue. 4 on the floor with no overdrive (!) and good for 85mph! K335BCY. I sold it to buy a vectra and the guy that bought it off me wrote it off about a week later. The vectra was sold in 2005 when I left the UK for China. It was an R reg and was the newest (and crapest!) car ive even owned!. Since I got back I had a:

G reg Mk 1 MX5 1.6L (white), £300

an Audi 80 coupe 2.8L (metallic green) £325

Toyota Celica 2.0L (red) now my wifes car £300

300zx (black) current £800

300zx (red) current £1000

1990 Black MT NA LWB = 2014 - 2020 (Sold)

1991 Red MT TT LWB = 2015 - 2017 (Stripped & Scrapped)

1991 Red MT TT LWB = 2017 - 2021 (Sold)

1991 Black MT TT LWB = 2018 - 2021 (Sold)

1989 Red AT TT LWB = 2021 - XXXX (Kept)

I had a Volkswagen Derby Saloon which cost be the grand sum of £50.

It was handpainted in burgundy over a silver shell, had 42,000 miles and a crack between 2 cylinders so got about 15 mpg and eventually after someone ran into it then i had a puncture someone bought it off me for £100 and i got repair money off the person who ran into me.

Overall in 6 months ownership I made £150 profit :D haha

Looked very much like this....

Mine was a MK3 XR3I sunburst red clover wheels it was my pride and joy.I was in the XR owners club and hated getting road dust on it when I polished it.

I was brought to tears when a Mitchell van hire rammed it into another car and drove off.
