time to start a thread now so wil have a go loads of pics to up load so will start with some parts i have

just been to see car to remove the trim for retrim i did flare the arch on the rear but had to filled to look like the oem rear but is still flared to fit the bigger rear wheels looks great very happy with it few pics here for you lot have a look front ducts fitted to the 99 bumper and uk rear bumper with rear fogs not fitted in with uk number plate looks spot on

The arch looks very nice, not too much to make it look out of place, but a widearch stance.

 

was just a flare and i was going to keep it but the body shop didnt like the rear flare and the front wasnt so they made it look oem with out it looking like a wide arch as on not keen on them

no the lip is metal then fiberglassed and then top filler

if you look in the pic you can see the green of the glass under it just coming through. yes needs paint like now. my back garden garage is all done ready now with heating and light so can no work on it day or night. the interior is also at the shop getting trimmed it black alcantara and the plenum should be back soon form power coat

we had nothing set in stone? it was only today they went in shop. by the time i sent them with shipping it did not make sense cost wise to have you do them. it was by chance a guy in the paint shop said to try some guy and i called in on the way back less than 3 hours ago

yes thats ok. i will send it out then next week say the 19th, am not in a rush for it after that so you have have it for a few weeks as the car will be in paint any how

just to make this clear for anyone reading it. i was going to get mondo to do the trim work. i went the other day to see car and remove the trim. the guy at the paint shop says to me go see barry on your way home he does retrims so on the way back i called in he has a looks and gave me price that was 100 cheaper than mondos price so i say ok thats cool it was a last min thing i came home post some pics and say i have just dropped the trim at the trimmers, before i could or did mail mondo he sees this and sees he arse , he could have just mailed me to ask whats going on but no has to post on the thread to kick up a fuss. we have no contract and no money has changed hands i have the rite to change my mind at any point, so before i let him know he posted negative posts on the build thread. as he seen his arse this is a build thread to for people to read about the car not are dealing and how and who is getting payed or not payed to do work thats personal info

i did ask for him to remove the posts and why did he no just mail me to start with so its clear he posting so others could see and take sides. i have tried to make a good build thread and build a good car, so i ask the admin once more can you clean up my thread please

today the new spare fidanza fly wheels turned up i have a new one on the car already but have this as a back up ready all went the paint shop today again lovely old jag just been sprayed and in a lovely old blue also the final top fitter is on need sanding now to blend the whole rear in should have its paint on now in a the next week very excited indeed

all the old holes were the oem spoiler was no filled in

straight from work to the body shop some more progress should be in paint now in a week or so finger crossed also had the nose badge fitted in few pics

 

all the stone chip of the sills and the front wings are primed

happy you seen the angle am coming form here thats the idea due to having the wing am trying to not go over board with other stuff and in some part removing stuff rear wiper and aerial and front badge inc no rear badges to and all black interior then i hope to get away with wing :clap:

called by shop on the way back home. there just starting to mask it all up ready for primer so close now car should be back home soon

the bonnet and rear boot lip are coming off also as i wanted the paint right and in all the jams yes thats very fussy but has to be done
