I was known as Sir Charles when I used to run planetxbox360.com - due to my surname which sounds posh.

Someone called me it on a podcast I was doing at the time and it just stuck!

I used to play role playing games when I as a teenager, and Gabrial was the name of a Vampire I played for the best part of 10 years. Originally took the name from Eric Dravens cat in the movie The Crow.

The Nerd will return to his corner now!!!!!

I live in Bedford = Bed.

I was a big baby at 10lb 5 and the nurses said I was a little pig so I've had that name longer than my real name!!!

Mine is self explanatory...... Fitted the veilside kit back in 2001...... but as it is going...... I may change to 'Calfman' just for Bird.......... lol

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

Nips was my nickname at school, I used to use nips_uk, but changed it to the real nips after seeing someone on the PSN with a nips handle.

When Hotmail was first launched back in 96 or 97 I had just started college and everyone was getting stupid email addresses - it was just a silly name I chose from 'back in the day'.

Back when I used to be in a band, the drummer was fairly obsessed with Dr Gonzo from Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas so the bass player decided that we should all be "Dr Something", just for a giggle...

So Dave (the drummer) was Dr Gonzo. Kev (bass player) decided on Dr Snuggles for himself, which just left me.

So they both decided that Simon would become Simondo... which became Dr Mondo (also what I laughingly named my drum machine a few years later!)... which ended up simply as Mondo and it's stuck ever since. :thumbup1:

I'm loving this. I'm so glad I started this thread, we are all being exposed with varying levels of nerdiness, geekiness and general sadness.

I think sometimes you need a thread where it is obligatory to cock about.

Clearly I have found my niche in the world of 300zx.co.uk

Just to let you know my other choice of name was UFWE

Which is also a PC World booking in code.

phutumsch is one of two dwarfs in the cult 80's The Young Ones, i spelt it my own way - think the writers spelt it beginning with 'foot' but the all idea of the word is that nobody ever says it.

Meanwhile my avatar, i fondly remember watching Bert and Ernie has a child on Sesame Street - however now their image i notice is used for gay marriage but for me always innocently two males living together singing about letters, numbers and pigeons...............in the good old days........i'll leave it there :thumbup1:.

Not the most exciting, joined the Air Force many moons ago. My surname being of Swedish origins was too hard for the drill instructors and my fellow comrades to remember; so someone shortened Osterberg to Osty and it stuck!

My wife even sometimes uses this shortened version to book restaurants etc instead of having to spell out my name.........Cheeky wench!!!:asshole:
