Hi folks, I'm Stewart from Ayrshire and I'm in the market for a ZX after selling my S4 recently. I joined to meet some other enthusiasts and hopefully gather some handy info like buyers guides etc.

Stewart, what sort of budget are you working to for your Z32?

Round about 4k mate, less if I can manage it for a running project.

As the red zed I had was a manual.

Yeah, a 1990 TT auto with some mods from a chap on here.

Only problem was pretty much some tired paintwork and laquer peel, mechanically its fine.

Stewart, have a chat with Gary (Gazwoz) he's a trader here, he imports Z's, He has three cars on the way over. Have a look in the Traders section, it might be helpful, there's two members who've purchased Z's from him and both are very happy, I'm sure they'll be along here shortly:thumbup1:

That's a turd. Been for sale for about 6 months; sill returns are completely crumpled from front to back and going rusty. I wouldn't touch that with a barge pole.

Is it well you Carnt really tell till you have a look in flesh so to speak it's amazing what can be hidden in photos or not shown and it amazes me some peoples idea of mint excellent condition and fully serviced I got ripped off for a car last year still in dispute with garage or rather trading standards as garage won't even respond. In terms of a zed a few years ago would have seen you a decent one for 4K but prices have shot up for both tt and na and I haven't really seen anything that would be a real good buy in a while other than maybe upping your budget and going for an import.
