Youngy33 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Hi folks, I'm Stewart from Ayrshire and I'm in the market for a ZX after selling my S4 recently. I joined to meet some other enthusiasts and hopefully gather some handy info like buyers guides etc. I've been keeping tabs on this one on eBay http://http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1991-NISSAN-300-ZX-TURBO-AUTO-RED-/331749304005?hash=item4d3dcca6c5:g:z4MAAOSwa-dWj2ae Its got the site stickers on it so I wondered if the owner is ever on here? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Stewart Quote
Baz Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Welcome to the forum Stewart. I must admit I've never seen the car before but I'm sure someone on here will know it! Quote
RichardS Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Hi and welcome Stewart! That car does indeed look familiar...... ......I think it might have passed through JaiKai's hands at some point - and it formerly belonged to a chap from South Wales; whose name I forget..... Richard:cool: Quote I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
JaiKai Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Nope, not mine. As the red zed I had was a manual. Hi and welcome Stewart! JaiKai Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Hi Stewart, Happy to let you see my zed if you come over and even go for a test drive if you have never driven one before. Alic Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Picture 5 it has a touch screen install, and the rest it has a normal radio. :confused1: weird. Welcome Andrew Quote
Youngy33 Posted January 27, 2016 Author Posted January 27, 2016 Thanks for the welcome folks, appreciate it. This forum is so much friendlier than some of the other owners clubs out there like scoobynet and audisport.net. :) Quote

Alic Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Fairly common to take out the good stereo when you sell a car and swap it for a cheap one! Yes but its just miss leading for the buyer as the good radio is the first picture they see of the interior, and the buyer will not know which one they will get :) Quote
AndrewG Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Welcome Stewart! That car is in our "Garage" by Marksz. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/dbtgallery.php?do=browse_user&userid=17819&gal=dbtgallery&id=31&type=albums It is a UK spec car. Alic Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Looks like he was (possibly) banned here for not sending people stuff: his last activity on the forum http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?174700-A-few-other-items-zx-tt I.e be careful Quote
Youngy33 Posted January 27, 2016 Author Posted January 27, 2016 Thanks guys, it's not looking too promising is it? His eBay account feedback isn't great either tbh. What's the price like for a car with that spec, rebuilt engine, recent respray etc ? It certainly looks not bad from the pics. Quote
AndrewG Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Stewart, what sort of budget are you working to for your Z32? Quote She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

As you say the ebay feedback looks just like the work he did on here To be blunt, you won't really find a freshly resprayed and engine rebuilt for near £3500. I'm guessing you want a car that will run and drive fine with no problems and in good condition, which you will be looking at £4000+ You can't really put a general price on them though as every ad and condition differs from car to car, so shop around and compare the possibilities is my advice. I shopped for mine for over a month, so just don't rush it. Quote

JeffTT Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Had a lot of MOT advisories over the years not dealt with and corrossion bad enough to fail the MOT as far back as 2007, be wary. Check the link out https://totalcarcheck.co.uk/FreeCheck?regk=j626tef Jeff Quote

I only drive a mile to work when the weather is too bad to walk so I can't really justify any more on a car lol. I've always fancied a ZX. It's alot of car for the money. I don't mind one that maybe needs a bit of work. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk Quote
