Hi folks, I'm Stewart from Ayrshire and I'm in the market for a ZX after selling my S4 recently. I joined to meet some other enthusiasts and hopefully gather some handy info like buyers guides etc.

I've been keeping tabs on this one on eBay http://http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1991-NISSAN-300-ZX-TURBO-AUTO-RED-/331749304005?hash=item4d3dcca6c5:g:z4MAAOSwa-dWj2ae

Its got the site stickers on it so I wondered if the owner is ever on here?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome Stewart!

That car does indeed look familiar......

......I think it might have passed through JaiKai's hands at some point - and it formerly belonged to a chap from South Wales; whose name I forget.....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Nope, not mine.

As the red zed I had was a manual.

Hi Stewart,

Happy to let you see my zed if you come over and even go for a test drive if you have never driven one before.

Picture 5 it has a touch screen install, and the rest it has a normal radio. :confused1: weird.

Welcome Andrew

Fairly common to take out the good stereo when you sell a car and swap it for a cheap one!

Yes but its just miss leading for the buyer as the good radio is the first picture they see of the interior, and the buyer will not know which one they will get :)

Thanks guys, it's not looking too promising is it?

His eBay account feedback isn't great either tbh.

What's the price like for a car with that spec, rebuilt engine, recent respray etc ?

It certainly looks not bad from the pics.

As you say the ebay feedback looks just like the work he did on here

To be blunt, you won't really find a freshly resprayed and engine rebuilt for near £3500.

I'm guessing you want a car that will run and drive fine with no problems and in good condition, which you will be looking at £4000+

You can't really put a general price on them though as every ad and condition differs from car to car, so shop around and compare the possibilities is my advice. I shopped for mine for over a month, so just don't rush it.

One of those items of feedback is from a member here. I don't recall who it was though.

Yeah I did think it was a bit too good to be true tbh. I've got a budget of about 4k. I only drive a mile to work when the weather is too bad to walk so I can't really justify any more on a car lol.

I've always fancied a ZX. It's alot of car for the money. I don't mind one that maybe needs a bit of work.
