    Never heard of that as an option? Surely someone has just put mirror film on those targas?

     

    Nope it was a feature of two specific trims starting with the Limited S. And it's not just a tinted film. If it were film you'd see the black painted trim on the glass. More on them here at my blog.

    Never heard of these thanks for sharing greg. Unfortunately its too expensive for me nowdays to get these from japan, i would wsitmate this would roughly cost 40,000 yen to ship to australia. the wife would kill me.

    What is odd about the photos is the fact they show t-top shades on them. The mirror coat tops did not come with shades, nor did they come with the tabs for mounting the shades. So not sure if the shades are just laying on top or if someone glued a set of mounting tabs on. The carbon fiber bezel around the handle is aftermarket.
