Spurred on by another thread, I was wondering, from today's owner base, how long they've owned their CURRENT Z for? I am pretty sure AndrewG holds that record at 16/17 years. I'm now into my 11th year of ownership and continue to become more and more attached to it.

 

So, how long have you owned your current Z?

I'm up there with you Simon:thumbup1: purchased my Z in the summer of 2005, haven't driven it much though:thumbdown: hopefully 2016 will be a good Z year:thumbup:. I'm in my 11th year also.

into my 10th year and still going strong, seen a lot come and go in that time near me.

7 years. It's actually been on the road most of that as well, even if it's gone no where for periods of time.

2016 is my year Si, it'll be on the road and clean:yes: Garage was onto me yesterday, going in in January, once it's running, it hopefully will never be in that state ever again:thumbup:

Coming up on 1 year and 2 months for mine so far :)

3 years for my white zed and just 9 months for Zebedee

Flew over to England to buy my SWB in 2010 so that's 5 years on my current Z. My first Z was bought in 2007 and sold in 2011.

Bought the car in April and got it in June, so I've had it about six months. I've wanted one since the late 90s though!

75% for two and half years the rest for 1 and a half. It's a very rare hybrid model of a uk spec car with an import shell.

Last zed which technically I still own for nearly 5 years and a new one on Monday. :)

Not quite. We met a chap at the NEC who has had his since it was 2 years old. He'd had several and the first one he bought was brand new.

How nice it would be to own a 300zx from new. :yes: A lot of Z owners out there don't bother with forums and FB pages which is a pity.

Same here summer 2005 I got mine,and my shorty only 2/3 years ,but will have my uk zed for a lot longer I think:)

The old man has his Sierra Cosworth since before I was born! Not sure if it was new or nearly new. Must be great to own a car for that long.

Since 2001, been tempted to sell on a couple of occasions though. Problem is every time I go in my garage it just puts a massive smile on my face.:yes:

As there is a fair few of us who own more than one now or have owned more than one in the past.

 

I myself have now owned five over the last 7 years and will be on my six zed by next week.
