just got off hone from Lee

he broke down on way to NEC, pulled onto hard shoulder or side of road.

went looking on foot for road or place name to give RAC

while gone, car was hit by a lorry, and is a write off, but he hasnt seen it yet

luckily had a witness as lorry drove off, witness found Lee down the road and they chased down the lorry and stopped him then called police

police dealing with him now and hopefully they will take him back to car 2 miles back up the road so he can see it

very lucky that he was not in the car and that he is alright.

he will post when he gets a chance to

Jesus!!!! Glad he's ok but all that hard work... :(

Seriously glad that he's uninjured though - that's always the main thing.

Lousy lousy news, this!

Bad news, but he was Lucky to be out of the car!

I understand that it is not easy to keep a smile on your face in such situation....

I hope to be able to shake a hand on Saturday at NEC.

Feel so bad for lee but very lucky not to be in the car, someone was watching over him I think. Glad they've got the driver.

Oh my god:(so sorry Lee,but thank god you wasn't in the car:(

What was that lorry driving thinking. To smash into a parked car then drive on is totally irresponsible. The Z looks bad Lee but hope you can save most of it. I know you are gutted to say the least but you are unhurt and you can build again mate. Sooooooo angry, sad and feel helpless but it could of been worse.

Gutted for you Lee! The position of that wheel doesn't look good...

My god, i feel for Lee, what a journey you have had with this zed, then for it to end in this way, totally gutted for you, but thank god youre safe.

For god's sake, that's terrible - i'm glad they managed to track down the guy but what an awful thing to happen. Just glad no-one was hurt in the process

Gutted for you mate. I understand all of the hard work you have put in.

The important thing is you are ok. At least there are some good people out there and you stand a chance of recovering your efforts, I'm very sure that is little comfort at the moment. Keep your chin up

Holy feck mate ffs, feel for ya hope lorry driver gets red carded for a few years for basically hit and run.. All that effort and you get some idiot that should not be on the road.. Glad your ok.

im a pratt.

was the car insured for a good wack ? as you mite be able to start again pain in the arse but if all the insurance covered it you could well get it all back to start again the engine is ok you could buy that back. for a start

There is no sense to this life sometimes. I am utterly gutted for you Lee and I know how I would feel in your place mate so sorry that this has happened after all the hard work and money in your baby. If it had been me I would have killed the guy thank god you were not in he car at the time and that you are unharmed. I hope you get some justice from this at least
