It's on Gumtree with the same description, Jeff.

Not one of yours then, I'm guessing....

With the amount of red paint it has on it and bolts missing, it's probably an old SouthWestZed engine!

One cause for alarm is that there's no mention of when the engine was rebuilt. It may well be "brand new" but, if it's been sitting for a few years, then a few "new" parts would likely need changing pretty much straight away.

Interesting how the seller states that they have only some of the receipts for the internals and no mention of the "Zedworld" receipt for the actual build.....

I guess we need to wait for Jeff to confirm if it's actually one of his. shame they don't give the reg of the car so he could check

The engine is unknown to me, the description says it is a Zedworld built engine and it is not. The description also is less than clear about the receipt side of the build and anyone who knows me know`s how I document everything and keep copies on the data base. We only ever rebuilt engines into cars not as a supply only, we have come across the Zedworld name been used before to add kudos maybe, I suppose it could be a mistake somehow getting mixed up with another, but doubt it as the build suggests at least £3k worth of spends and would be sure you would want a receipt and remember who did it, Birmingham based seller, seems dodgy.

Jeff

Take it you've emailed the guy to say "I owned Zedworld and I know we didn't work on this engine, get our name off the advert!" or maybe a politer version of!

i never got a receipt for my engine work Jeff...

All via the e-mail scheduled invoicing as you were so busy with work and not in the UK, all supported by the many, many photo`s sent and the folder journal I supplied when the car was transported back to your house.

Jeff

I'm pretty sure if you contact ebay they will take down the ad quite quickly

Yes might just do that.

Jeff

Very suspect id say, outlay on that alone would be well over the asking price,"Cosmetic headgaskets" always cracks me up when i read that.

I think eBay will kick someone if they have so many strikes against them. A strike being a proven misuse or lie. This guy has already got bad feedback he should be bought to task before he rips someone off.

Please contact them Jeff as it is a lot of money he is asking based on your good name.

Other: zedworld-parts sent a message about Nissan 300Zx Twinturbo Complete Engine!!!! Fresh Rebuild!!!!!!!!! #301766712751

It has been brought to our attention you are selling an engine for a Nissan 300zx and describing it as newly rebuilt by Zedworld. Well of course as I am Zedworld I know only too well that was not built by us, can you change your listing accordingly please.

I need to speak to the guy I bought it from if he has receipt then I shall change back the listing. But as of now it's been changed

But the price isn't, i'm just hoping no one will acctualyl buy it

I would want to know who the 'Guy' is who stated it was from Zedworld. He is definitely pushing his luck, and why is anita selling it ? Very strange tbh.

cool found it
