Following on from a thread I've been reading through, I'm curious what everyone thinks looks better, a UK or a JAP rear bumper.

The only differences as far as I'm aware are the rear fogs and long number plate in the UK. I'm curious on people's though for my black Zed as I might be able to get a rear bumper for very cheap if I want one, but I'm not sure

sorry uk with out the fog lights

uk all the way the jap looks daft

I'm with you there bud, jap looks a bit like a 'goofy tooth' IMO and agree without the fog lights. Its going to lead to the old discussion of how good a zed looks without plates! Lovely!

should have stock bumper vs 99 bumper poll but i dont know how to start a poll

I voted Jap, as that's all "proper" Zeds - SWBs - came with! :thumbup1:

I'm not so sure, it's more about what people think look better rather than what they actually have

people tend to like what they have due to just having it, not what they really like i have seen this many times in life

Even if I'd have bought a UK spec, a Jap spec bumper would have gone on to allow a square plate and removal of the rear foglights. Can't stand extra lights randomly stuck in bumpers just because manufacturers couldn't be arsed incorporating them into the rear lights properly.

Jap bumper 100% can't stand the cluttered UK bumper. Even without the fogs, the long plate makes it look so boring, the square rear recess gives it that feeling that it's not a ford etc.

The square plate on a nap bumper doesn't even fit the hole and sticks out the bottom. Just looks unfinished in my opinion. Also less of the U.K. Bumpers around its nice to be different.

I did consider a UK rear bumper for a while, but my preference is Jap rear. I like both, but the Jap bumper looks a little more exotic (especially with numbers all on one line on a correctly cut number plate), they look a little shitty with a regular 4x4 style number plate with lettering on 2 lines. I also love the illuminated side markers.
