Hi Guys,

 

Been on here for a couple of weeks reading up and looking for a reasonably clean na 300.

 

I've been in Japanese cars for a while now, last 8 years in a legnum vr4... It's been a fantastic car, but very complicated and being a tiptronic, expensive to maintain.. Looks like the gearbox is on its last legs so I have retired her to the driveway until I can fix it or whatever...

 

In the meantime I have been on the hunt, recently missed out on a clean 300, the dealer sold her the day I was due to go view it!

 

So, I'm after a z32, manual, non turbo , 2+2, t top, preferably black but I like them in white and gun metal also... The top of my budget is about £2500, might go a little higher if I see something sorted..... Priority would be rust free and mechanically very good....

 

Looking for something fun and reliable, it will be daily driver, might look at exhaust, lowered on nice rims in the future if lacking at purchase....

 

The monies in the bank burning a hole in my pocket, let me know if you see or know of anything out there....

Would you consider SWB or you only after a 2+2?

Need a 2+2 really.... Not sure my daughter would like to sit in the boot...

 

My partners car is an Mr2, m reg. So no help, unless we drive everywhere in convoy.....

The white one in the first post was the one I was going to view, unfortunately the garage selling it werent very professional and sold it Saturday just gone... Wasn't best pleased but life goes on.... I have been watching the other but it's on a bid so may go beyond my limit....

 

Im familiar with the current market, not hard as there doesnt seem to be too many around....

I saw that on ebay yesterday ,but its not there now, at that price with the amount of goodies, i wouldnt be surprised if its already sold.

 

Manual conversion: gearbox and associated bits around £500-600, then labour on top, although its not a hard job to do yourself if you are mechanically inclined.

Looking at the price I was expecting to read a description full of negative points but, seemingly, there aren't any! It's certainly had a fair wedge of goodies thrown at it, worth an inspection of it hasn't already sold.

Yeah it looks lovely, I spoke to the garage selling last week, was due to view on Sunday... I asked that if anyone shows interest please let me have first refusal, they seemed fine with it, then sold it on Saturday... Didn't even call to cancel, they sent a text.

 

I arranged insurance and a lift to the garage. So it's left me about £100 out of pocket.

 

When I initially called them they were holding the car for a German fella, no deposit taken.... They wouldn't have taken a deposit from me, but they seem quite happy to sell it from under my nose....

 

Real shame, looked lovely and ticked all the boxes.....

 

I'm open to 2+2 manual.. I could be swayed by a turbo if the right car comes along...
