Just interested to know how many members are actually active.

If you are, please post ONCE ONLY on this thread so that the post count can be used.

To make it slightly interesting (and possibly useful) how about posting your occupation ?

I'm a Project Manager for IT projects at Legal & General.

Dave

(now how is Timmy going to manage only one post on a thread !)

Im active well just anyway.

Was a petrol station manager until friday when i quit, once ive spent a week doing absolutely feck all i'll go and get myself another job

I sell power transformers - big grey things wot hum a lot. You see them in substations and little ones up poles. All your electrickery comes through them.

Reading the above I reckon I should have been in IT though something about IT types and Zeds - its logical Jim, its life but not as we know it!

2 years of zed and not a bit bored yet.

still new here and learning a lot about z's

im a computer technician and it pays for the go juice and the beer,

Im active here :)

Im doing A levels @ school now :(

The zed is my dads but I love it :D

Was hairy arsed engineer!

Now engineering solution consultant:D for Jungheinreich.

Basically (what do you mean it doesn't fit, gimme that hammer!)

i'm a funeral director but training to become an embalmer. Bet there is no-one else on here with the same job.

I'm active until I get hacked off then I disappear..

I'm a manic depressive, paranoid schizophreniac lunatic, oh and I need therapy.

During the day I'm an IT geek (network security, development in VB, Pascal, C, HTML/XML/ASP yada yada).

I think there's lost of IT bods with Zeds because the job is so bl00dy boring unless you get to be the BOFH.

I agree with Aaron about the boring bit that why I, like Iain, hurt people for a living aswell but only part time!

But ive found these little blue pills that make me love everyone, shall I dish them out to some people on Fight Club?

You some sort of Dominatrix at night then ;)

Well, it seems that the majority of 'actives' are into I.T.

I used to be well envious about all you guys...but that was like 2 years ago when the money was in I.T! But now, well now I just hear horror stories from all those consultants who are struggling to get contracts!!! (In case you guys aint sussed it, I'm still a lil envyous!!!)

Now for what I do... I'm a film producer, working on (and struggling on) my first feature film.

And, before anyone asks:

* No, I aint bull s**ting you!

* Due to the distributors rules etc etc etc can't reveal the name of the film yet.

* No you can't star in the film!

* Nor can your cars!

* And, at this moment in time, I am probably earning less than anyone of you guys! (hence I still haven't got my zed yet)

(I wish I had got into I.T!)

PS. Is there any chance that we can have a link where everyone can post a picture of their cars???

I commision Fire Alarms & live in Essex...

I'm active - well, most of the time anyway! :D

I'm a Graphic Designer, self employed sole trader.

My specialisation is book design and DTP although I have been known to dabble in web design, sign writing, exhibition design and racing car livery.

I love my Zed - most of the time!

Tim

Obviously someone didn't read the bit where it said "please only post once". :D

I'm also in IT. Senior Analyst programmer. Use Dynamic SQL, Oracle, HTML, ASP, VB, .net, Perl, Java (J2E), Korn shell and a few more

Still about...wombling around the forums a bit. :D

Used to work in IT for 7 years, now in Telecommunications working for AT&T.

4 and a bit years of Zed ownership and still not bored! :D :D

Yes, I'm here...

Compters again.... how exciting!

I work for BT, I was an engineer but after a little accident I now work in the office.

Another IT '****sultant' I'm afraid. There's a lot of us about, as we can see from the nosedive in the rates over the past couple of years! Still, beats working for a living I guess! ;)

i'm active most of the time, although the zed seems not to be as well :(

i'm a lecturer in respiratory medicine. i dont do any lecturing, just run my own lab doing research.

cheers
