What do you think is better looking? 89 spec or 99 spec. Well at least the 89 spec with the 99 spec inserts.

I think I prefer the 89 spec lights for the darker more mysterious quality. Although having seen a brand new set of 99 spec headlights, they do look very tasty and I imagine the light output is more controlled than the early ones with a lot less light scatter. That would probably be the main selling point that would press me to buy them, but as they're so expensive I very much doubt I ever would!

In terms of aesthetics, I prefer the earlier headlights. I do really like the look of the 99spec HID headlights, but ai think the early style look more menacing and dark looking.

I think the '89 spec look way better and especially on a black car. '99's on your would look terrible imo:innocent:

Currently i have 89 ones chrome wrapped on my silver car but it's time for a change so i am going 99 inserts with a gunmetal finish plus i'm.........

99s all day long

"yes" on genuine OEM HIDs.....

"no" on those.....

2 different things; hence I have not added a vote....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
