Tax disc holders still part of the Membership Pack for Subscribed members and can be used to put the 25th Anniversary graphic in it. But at the end of this year I will stop using them and replace them with something else:)

Sorry yes i meant when i become a subscribed member ........... Its on the todo list ...... errmmm actually so is buying a 300ZX

11 amazing facts about the tax disc

10. The aftermarket tax disc holder was a popular method for motorists to express their individuality. For example, a silver metal holder with fake Allen bolts on it was an unbeatable way of indicating you were a weasel-faced tit with a badly modified Saxo.

Bwhahaah that's hilarious! I hate those things - why you need a piece of metal and 6 allen bolts to hold a tiny bit of paper to a windscreen, I'll never know! This will put Richbrook and Foliatec out of business! (you can but hope!)

I wont miss having to replace that bit of round plastic on my window every time i brought a new tax disc. They never re-stuck once removed.

Don't think anyone gonna buy them for that price, bad enough paying what the government was asking.

I should take mine down, mine must be worth a bit as it's a limited edition printed one they issued for the last month

I'd rather blow £2k on something that has a purpose. An out-of-date tax disk has all the value of a dog turd. The 'disabled' tax disks were issued free anyway!

It's like trying to sell an old Tesco carrier bag.

I am surprised of the amount of cars that still have tax disks on them. I pulled both of mine out the very day that weren't didn't have to display anymore!

LOL - my exact thoughts (and I know I have voiced that before too mate... )

It will indeed be nice to have a "clean" looking 'screen..... But then, I still have my National Trust sticker(s) - essential for free parking in their car parks - so I can at least cut the display down by one. But as Gary says, we do still have a fair few club-branded 'disc holders.... So there might well be something one may be able to stick in them shortly....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I'm not.......

Mines staying put, only because I'm too lazy to remove it.

........For that very reason.....!!

You wait rich, some big wig will decide to make it an offence to display the old tax disc next...£60 on the spot fine, they can't resist the irony of that can they?

I tried counting them but lost count ever time  free tax disc holder to any one that can count them.

I wont lie I have some spare time but I believe 245 plus the one in the windscreen and you have 246 tax disc's

Thats near enough for me plus the one on the Z the Merc the Renault and the two Minis makes 251 tax discs so can anybody beat that.
