The refurb place can't do the red ring, I would consider new nuts, and the centre caps don't come in red and the current spray job is flaky. The brakes are black, what do we think?

Personally, I'd not do them white at all. They're quite a nice style, but I find red and white a real clash. I'd get them powdercoated a shadow chrome. It's a gorgeous colour and will make the car more purposeful, hide brake dust a little more and make it look a little more expensive.

It'd be a hard sell Si but I'd consider it. You'll have to get your MS Paint on :)

I wouldn't go black, although a lot of people do, it looks too mean to my eye. Sort of adds attitude to the car I am not after.

I wouldn't go black either. Never been a fan of black wheels. But a gunmetal or shadowchrome is nice. Shadow chrome is certainly what I'd go for on a wheel of that design.

As if by magic....your wheels in a shadow chrome finish. I like the way the sunlight captures the corner of the spoke, something your white wheels don't do at all.

Not a fan of black wheels either, just makes it look like you lost your hubcaps and couldn't be bothered to replace them and are proud rocking the steelies, i do like that shadow chrome, or gun metal Gray

But thats if you want to go with a darker colour to compliment the red.

Similar colour and same b/k to yours with silver wheels. Silver (or shade of) would compliment your f/r lights

and black bbk calipers.

Having said that hellraiser's zed is red with similar wheels to yours also in white and was selected by members

of the public at the recent Beaulieu Simply Japanese as one of the 16 cars for the final judging...

Are my wheels too dark? They are gun metal, or maybe charcoal it's a ford colour exactly the same as the in laws focus. I do toy with it being too dark lol.

Being perfectly honest Steve, I think yours are too dark. You have lots of thin spokes which are hidden. Something brighter and more fresh would be more eye catching I think.

I think your right, however right now the colour of why wheels isn't my number 1 lol, at some point il think il go for that sort of Matt silver Andrew posted with fresh stainless bolts. (They're not true split rims)

Yeah you get what I mean it's like a matte or satin type effect not high gloss shiney shiney and certibatly not chrome which is for biffers with old English sports cars. :p haha

It's your car bud, if White is your preference then do it. There are 4 much better options highlighted above ^^^^ though :cool2:

Personally I like the neo chrome plating but may look a bit to bling I like the white but how about someone on here does the nice thing and photoshops toms car with lots of different cols to help him make up his mind :) but end of day its your car who cares what anyone else thinks if you like it what does it really matter everyone has different tastes and ideas of what loks good within reason of course NO PINK !!!!

Its probably a, "wheels that only a mother could love" sort of a thing. I really like them, and was just wondering what to do on the subtleties of the red and white bits.

I like shadow chrome, but not really on red. HOWEVER, I may like it when I see it, I will try and mock it up.

Light silver is a no for me, as is black. I am 70% white, 30% anthracite or whatever.

I constructed my sentences like a full retard

On a red car.only if your going down the hard looking stance would i say black .but your not. For a clean fresh look i would say proper chrome.but it not the right wheel to suite id say a light silver or that shadow chrome.sorry to say this but this is my own opion anything apart from white mate will make your car look more class.in sumary.with that wheel.some form of chrome.light or shadow.

Take no notice tom i actually like the white on your car with the body kit you have and that nice new gleaming shade of red the white looks good. By the way how many big shop windows have you slowly driven past since getting it back from bodymech?
