Some of you already know or had seen pics of my Z posted, ever since I got this Z I´ve always focused on keeping it clean and all original as possible, well some folks have been lately rounding my mind into fitting a set of 99 JDM Tail lights, they state car will look much more fresh and new look. Things is...am I the only one who thinks that green cobalt with the stock lights also look beautiful?? or am I going nuts?

need some true sincere advice here, when I look at the car I still see it beautiful even with the original stock tail lights.

So question is..should I spend my $$$ on the set of 99 JDM Tail? or should I keep the actual stock ones?

Thanks folks!

p.d. How´s the summer in UK? we had 38 today here and sunny hate this fu** weather anyone wants to swapp and come to Costa del sol and let me some rainy cold weather from mainland? and I´m serious!

I think it's all about what YOU like. It's your car after all. They are customisable in so many ways...it's what makes them all a little different from the other ones.

Do it, the 99 spec rear will change the look of the rear to a far more classy and clean look.

For Britian it's hot, highs of 32 and averages of 26/27 most days at present. Been like it a few weeks.

It looks much better Mine is green as well and I changed them over years ago and I think it looks much better But as always it comes down to personal choice

I'd also say go '99 spec. They do look much better. The orange indicator lenses look very '70's escort. I have the stock lights on mine but these will be the first/maybe only cosmetic change when I have some cash.

Whilst I agree that 99 spec lights do freshen the car up well and make it a little more modern, there is nothing wrong with the orange retro rear lights or side repeaters for that matter. Fact is these cars are old now, 99 spec lights won't change that. Even a 99 spec car is an old one.

I for one am proud of my 25 year old classic! The fact it still turns heads, feels pretty modern to drive and still goes like stink is a true testimony to Nissans original design.

If you prefer it like it is then keep your money in your pocket, the 99 spec rears are not exactly cheap!

And after all that, I feel silly now, because I intend to change mine to 99 spec in the near future, but my car is gunmetal grey.

I'd just ask Phutumsch to convert your orange lense ones. He does a great job & will save you a lot of money.

Without doubt the very BEST and ONLY modification you need do to the rear of the Z32.

What about updating the spoiler ?

I like all 3 variants.

First thing I did to my Zed was update the rear lights and centre panel to '99 spec. Cosmetically I feel that and smoothing the stone chip is all it needs. All 3 standard spoilers are nice as Si says, and shorties can get away with the spoiler less look :-)

I'm waiting for mine! :)

I think it's going to be great image.jpg

Waiting waiting waiting!
