Finally finished the system install today, just carpet on rear seat to fit and drop in false floor.

Took me a good few man hours to fabricate and fit all this, fitted dynamat sound proofing throughout boot rear quarter panels and door skins, the difference is unbelievable! Sounds so solid and quiet now, road noise dramatically reduced.

Sure thing mate, we're u at japfest this year at all? Not at santdpod tomorrow, I got the kids tomorrow.

I was at castle coombe....... parked over the back by hedge...... lol

Still trying to find the time to do my sub boxes for my 2 12" cerwin vega's, fit the 2nd amp, power capacitor and reversing camera linked to a samsung galaxy tab 2....... lol

Are your mid range speakers sharing the same enclosure space as the subwoofers, or are they acoustically separated?

Got it, I couldn't tell from your first photos. Which model of JL subwoofers are you using?

Yeah roof fits in mate the subs are W0v3 10"

Fibreglass is great to work with, just use a good mask and don't rush it, amazing what u can do with the stuff

My system is slowly morphing into a JL setup. The JL 10w1v3 looks interesting and would fit the existing enclosure.

Thanks, I have always been a big JL Audio fan, not cheap but as with most things the old "get what u pay for" rule applies.

 

I'm still running speakers in so haven't tuned it all yet, but sounds lovely, very clear and punchy.
