As I can't do much at the moment (broken arm lol) been playing on ebay and ended up buying yet more wheels for my zed,

They need refurbished so will change the colour. They are silver( even though they look gold)

I was thinking gold or bronze... What does anyone think? They are going to be for road tyres, the cheap wheels on it now will have the r888's for track use. As they are all 8.5j.

The wheels...

The car....

Opinions please, want to get them done in time for the Coventry event

8.5J is kinda skinny for the rear....with that ENORMOUS ironing board, you really need some aggressive fitment wheels to pull it off IMO.

As for the colour, I'd choose neither, I'd do gloss shadow chrome.

I would go for Neon Yellow. But that may be just me...:whistling:

The colour they are is good, bronze works well on gunmetal cars. You gotta drop the arse on that thing though to suit the body modifications.

Yup - and like Si, if you don't keep them silver, then shadow chrome.

Bronze works on blue cars - but it is a bit "1990s Subaru" for my personal taste...

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Doing this properly, I googled "colours that go with teal."

Yellow really? Can't picture it... Maybe white?

Definitely not staying silver,

8.5j is good for the rear, I had a pair of 370z rears on it for a while they were too wide. Feels better with the thinner wheels all round, personal preference. 245 tyres.

And yes I've a set of coilovers and new arms waiting to go on but won't be happening for a while because of my arm.. Lol.

No to white and no to yellow!

Damn, my fronts are 245. lol If you're going to stick with skinny wheels, get some spacers to push them out into the arches :) . What offset are they?

They are et35 I think.

I have to drive it on the road too, not against painting the track wheels a bright colour.

Found these online they're similar wheels too, I think it looks alright...

I tried 8.5j rears once with 245 there just wasn't grip would spin up to easy. a 245 rear tyre with stock boost is about the limit of grip. I now have a 10j rear and will have 285 tyre. as for colour go silver

Yeah go for bronze ash will look good against the colour of your Z

They are et35 I think.

That does look good :thumbup1:

8.5 @ et35 on the rear, your car will look like grey one I posted next to mine. The wheels will sit further inboard than your current ones. I personally would NOT fit them unless you intend on fitting 15mm - 20mm spacers. It will not be a flattering look.

Those Rays 57D wheels are my new #1 wheel of choice. I've been looking at these for a while now but unfortunately they don't come in 19's :(

I won't vote on a colour as you have already expressed your disliking to silvers!

Joel, your wheels look 100x better than the 57D IMO.

They are et35 I think.

That looks a good colour combo

Get 2 x cheap shitty universal spacers, 10mm each and fit both to one side and mount the wheel. If it looks to be nice and flush, then invest in bolt-on hubcentric spacers. If they stick out, then get the 15mm versions. I think you should be able to get 20mm ones on there though. Would give you +15 effective, I am running +20 and I have an additional inch. +15 on an 8.5" wheel for the back should be nice and flush.

bugatti supersports orange would look nice lol

stfu + gtfo

Bugatti supersports orange would look nice lol

What is wrong with you people!?!?!
