Hi all

Anyone know the best place to get the new Red Stuff pads from? And how do I make sure I have the new type and not the old one?

Cheers

Mike

Hey Mike, I understand there is a spanking new forum which really has the best tech advice in the planet. Perhaps someone there knows the answer?

I shall make haste to this new place and perchance my query shall be answered there. Regards to Mr Gio as always. ;)

The best place to get Red Stuff pads is behind my car.

They wore out so fast you could brush the dust off the road and pack it back together ;) LOL

I drive my Z hard but they only lasted 2 months FFS!

That'll be the first compound then LOL

Mine lasted a little longer, but not much.

I'm on V2 at the mo and they seems to be better from cold and also appear to be lasting better.

I got mine from http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk They are the same pads as the latest generation of scoobys btw.

HTH

Tim

Greenstuff are better for mainly road use - Redstuff are more trackday pads.

Not that this is helpful as to where to get them... :D

Sorry Ajay, don't agree with you there.

Have you tried the Reds? I've had Green and Reds and IMHO the V2 Reds are better, I'm using standard dia. Discs, but they are slotted.

Tim

Tim...fair enough...I haven't tried either, but this is what I have been told by people on here...

Guess I'm, just too trusting. :D

oooh...and welcome to the Land of the Random Comma...

Think I'll be holding onto this crown for a bit longer...

Nice and pedantic Anita, and you work in what?

I'll stick with my 12 years in UK and international publishing thanks :@

The syntax of the English language can be interpreted in many different ways, American for example has many variants from the UK variety!

Oh, and well done for going off topic.

Tim

I'm sorry, Tim? Have you misinterpreted what I said?

The phrase "Welcome to the Land of the Random Comma" referred to my previous post wherein I inserted a comma after "I'm" where one clearly wasn't needed...

I believe that the phrase previous to that, where I clairifed that I had not used either GreenStuff or RedStuff pads WAS on topic....

Okay Ajay, I misinterpreted your post, just get so used to all of your posts turning into grammar lessons between you and Mike!

Tim

No worries. :)

Once Craig (finally) receives my cheque, I'll be able to edit and not add random posts! :D

It's a fair point Tim. I think you owe Ajay an apology mate.

[edited 'coz I didn't read that you already had! Humble apology from me.]
