Hi all

I have my Brembo brake calipers off an evo 8 painted up and ready to go on once payday comes around in a week. however on the brakes themselves i only have one ~Banjo bolt, i believe its called, the bolt with a hole in the top and one at the bottom pressumably for the brake fluid to go through. just wondered where is the best place to get one from, i have no clue on sizes etc im guessing brake caliper banjo bolts on come in 1 of a few sizes. does the zed stock calipers have banjo bolts? and will the fit the brembo ones? or where can i buy a pair of new ones but the right size. should i bring the current bolt to a plumming place and will they be able to get me the right one ?

thanks in advance

Contact Mike Feeney, MJP, in the Traders section, I'm sure he'll have some in stock.

They are still on the car I havent removed the stock ones yet. Do I use them still with the brembos. In the kit im buying I get new brake lines. How do they work with this stock piece you are showing? . Sorry I havent looked into the fitting process too much till I have everything I need. Any help explaining will be very beneficial to me

The picture I posted was for R33 Brembos. I was able to stretch the existing hardlines to reach the new position

with the Brembos. The fitting on the Brembo would take either type of connection (stock type or banjo). Got a picture

of the new brake lines you will get?

Ive just fitted mine not no more than two weeks ago. The first time i put one side on and done the caliper right up and it took no bull about an hour of fiddling to get that hard line in without damaging the thread. Then i done the next side bolted the caliper on but left load of thread of so i could move the caliper with the hard line that screws straght were the old one came of. Two mins fiddle on then put pads in and tighten all bolts ect up .live and learn.

thanks all.

makes a bit more sense to me now the new lines im getting are braided ones so hopefully are screw on jobbies, will save me a lot of time and hassle.

Yeah potentially. S13 braided lines sort of work, but the banjo section is curved. It needs a straight one.
