Well the sad day has finally come and my Zed will be leaving me tonight to go to someone that can afford to give her the love she deserves.

I will be back in a Zed at some point but with trying to raise the deposit for a mortgage may not be for a year or two:crying:

I will be taking her out for one last blast round some nice country roads after I've had my dinner though.

I feel like I've died a little inside, god help me when I see the new owner driving her away.

that what happens when you get older you meet a girl get marryed have kids buy a house and spend the rest of your life doing stuff you don't want to do my mate is doing this rite now to. sad times

Always a bad feeling letting a car you love go. I was sad to see my last zed drive away but at least I had another one to replace it with.

& it is possible to keep a zed, a family & a house. Will have my project back in a few weeks, can't wait.

Sorry to hear it mate she was a lovely Z. You'll be back I'm sure, thought I had hung up my last set of Z keys a few months back but things changed and my purple one came up for sale just at the right time and I had to have it!

Chin up mate, you'll soon be back in a zed. In the meantime, stick around here for your zed fix :thumbup1:

Seconded - sorry to hear you have to sell up mate; but needs must sometimes...

I'm sure you'll be back in a ZX again when circumstances permit - but don't be a stranger my friend:wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Sorry to hear that mate, but at least you are going to do something productive with the sale in terms of investing in a property.

All the best for the future and hope it goes well for you :thumbup1:

She will be sadly missed but the new owner has agreed to take great care of her and will be joining the forum after I pointed him in the direction of the best bunch of guys and girls I've had the privilege to call my fellow zedders and friends.

When she goes yourll meet another girl. Its called your wife. My partner always says the amount of time i spend on that car.if i didnt have it she recons we would have loads done round the house.im sorry to here this mate but injoy your misses untill you get another one lol.

To late to pull the sale Joel mate, watched her drive away last night.

Still need to buy another car to replace her with, my missus keeps telling me to buy a focus!?:cursing:

You never know, if a decent manual Zed comes along at a good price, I may be zedless for a lot less time!

What's wrong with a Focus? I have one and it's a fantastic car. Bit down on power when compared to the Zed but good MPG.

Good luck with getting a new one soon bud!

I know how you feel. I went through the same in 2008.

Had Jap cars for 8 years, got a new house with bigger mortgage and the GTR had to go. I still remember the day, the sound of my car being driven off. I felt like rubbish, really bored without a performance car!! Everytime I saw a fast car I pined for anything, but nothing compares to a Jap performance motor!!

Everyone except my family told me to keep it. I sold it in 2008 for 7000.00 an absolute bargain. Today the car would be worth a lot more!!!! I wish I woild have kept it locked up in my dads garage and just paid fire and theft on it.......gosh I am getting side tracked here!!!

Point is you will miss it loads but you will get another in the future!

Sorry for going slightly offtrack.

Bloodyhell mate :crying:....iff you ever hear my zed screaming up behind you one day just put your hands over your ears and close your eyes....otherwise you,ll wish you lived in a squat and was gay:ph34r:

If it does, it means you're nearby, so I hope that you'll be on your way round to your gay squatter mate Joel's house for tea and biscuits?
