Could all members who are attending the 25th anniversary meet at Coventry Transport Museum on July 19th please do the following:

Subscribed Members - please PM me your name and registration plate number as well as variety of Zed.

Registered Members - please email me your name and reg number and variety of Zed to lexx_dring@hotmail.com

This info is to be used to ensure members are quickly and efficiently parked on the day as well as having an historical record of the type/number of z32 in attendance.

Information will not be disclosed to any third party, and reg number information will be deleted from my computer and email account after the event.

An information pack will be sent out to those attending in the next couple of weeks.

I'm also looking for two volunteers who are willing to arrive early and spend the first couple of hours in an official capacity assisting with parking and set up.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the link Gary.

If everyone could make sure they have the info pack downloaded so that they know where they are going on the day.

I know its as bit late notice, but is there space for another Zed?

I've been trying to get a new car for a while, and think I may now have one in time.

Would really love to join in and be part of this Zed historic moment.

Probably some 300zxs! :wack:

Many apologies for the late notice but I will not be bringing my 300 to the anniversary meet, so my place can be opened up to the reserve list :(

Reason being? (Fairly long story!) I had been waiting for my painter to free up a slot for well over a year and eventually decided to bite the bullet and shop around. After much deliberation/consultation with Bodymech I had settled on the job being done at custom exotics (as they're local), but having not heard from them for even a rough date/slot as the weeks and months roll past I decided to once again search for a different bodyshop.

I have since been very impressed with another local outfit who's approach to the whole thing has been very different to many others. I decided to book it in at the earliest opportunity and have a confirmed slot on the 29th July.

I initially planned to strip it down after the Coventry show but with work and other commitments I will take advantage of the time available in the coming days leading up to the 19th and get started on the stripping to avoid any possibility of delaying what I have been trying to achieve for a considerable amount of time!

I will still attend the show as a "civilian" and am gutted to miss out the involvement of this one-off event but nevertheless I look forward to seeing the cars in all their glory and meeting new faces.

Haha didn't see that one coming :P

Are you coming up as well mate?

Yes. However it'll be touch and go with the Z if I can put it all back together in a day!!!!!

I will also have to pull out of the anniversary meet as my employer has decided that 10 months notice is not long enough to grant my holiday entitlement that was given when starting my job!!!!!

I always thought holiday booked prior to starting a job had to be honoured....... what do I know??

Never the less will be taking the week of 28th July to 4th August off....... as my Z working week...... ready for 3rd August and Beaulieu..........

I am now looking for a new job as well as this was straw that broke the camels back...........

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

update.....!!

We now have 70 listed attendees - with 50 of those having already confirmed their intent to come along by giving Lexx their registration numbers....

To that end we are now up to capacity for those who wish to be a part of the display on Millennium Place - however anyone else is still able to pop along, park in a public car park in the city centre and stroll up on foot.

We are now compiling a reserve list - and priority will be given in the order of registered interest in the appropriate thread. So if anyone already on the list has to cancel for whatever reason, please do say so at the earliest convenience so that your place can be offered to those on the reserve list.

And if you are one of the 70 already down, please pass your Z registration number to Lexx ASAP, if you haven't already!

Thanks - and on behalf of the committee, moderators and events organisers, we look forward to seeing you there!!

OMG, I nearly made a very very expensive mistake, I think, lucky I always read everything, I spoke to my sister last night, had her persuaded, based on cost, to come over for this special meet, I was there for the 20th Anniversary at JAE, looked at ferry cost this morning, times etc., just about to make final decision when I see in this post "can park in the city centre and stroll up" am I reading this right? There is only room for 50 cars on display?

We have space for 70 cars. Currently have 5 places left. So if you want to come across with the Zed there is room.

Just PM me your name and Reg number and you're good to go

7 days to go now.

Be sure you have downloaded the file from this thread:

http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?176857-25-Anniversary-Meet-Download-for-attendee-s

It has a small map on how to enter Millennium Place.

Coventry is full of bus only and one way systems which you don't want to be lost in!
