Hi all,

I realise this topic has been talked about hundreds of times, but I'm after a front brake kit for the Nissan. I has pretty much decided I was going for a 330mm Wilwood kit because it perfectly fit the spec I was after. When I enquired about the wilwood kit, it seems they aren't making them any more, and only the 345 kit is available, which won't fit under 17 inch wheels!

The next price up is either D2 or ksport brakes (essentially the same) but that's really stretching my budget!

Anyone got any ideas for a 330mm kit to fit under 17"s?

I'm a little worries about the cost of replacing pads in the ksports/d2s, any experiences of this?

Cheers!

Pretty sure that z33 brembos are 330mm. Some 345 discs will fit if the design on the wheel allows it. How much free space is behind your wheel.

I haven't measured it, but visually probably 5mm, I'll have to check when I'm home, would the 350z calipers fit, as I know they are much larger?

It really does depend more on the offset and design of the spoke area. The Z33 Brembos 'should' fit under 17" wheels, but you need to check that the spokes clear the calipers. Photos and spec of your current wheels?

I'll have to try and check the offset later on, I'll get a photo up. Looking at EVO brembo and theres a few around for reasonable prices... It's when you add up discs, pads, lines, and brackets being made (and that's without a rebuild kit) 900 for ksport kit brand new does t look far off haha!

Do the 350Z calipers and discs not bolt straight on...? That'd be a nice easy win if they did!

Actually the 350 disc is larger, calipers bolt straight up. Il reply properly when I get in from shopping.
