Today the car was stripped of the last parts to be removed and is now looking very sad to how it was from the last 8 years of total pleasure owning it.

Unfortunately I won't be looking for another zx for the time being as all the remaining finds from her will be going towards a deposit for a new house.

But I will always remember it for how it looked just before the end.

Hopefully one day I will get another one, but one thing is for sure I will be staying on the forum as I have met some fantastic people over the years on here and have had a huge amount of help from all the Kind members who have given up there time to help both on here and in person.

Having your own house is more important than cars Dave and you must put your family first. You had a great 300zx and it is sad to see it all broken up but I know you will have another one mate. Good to see you are staying on the forum as you have a wealth of knowledge to help our new members. Onwards and upwards Dave.

Very sad to see you are selling up buddy, stick around and pop your nose in from time to time to visit us, good luck for the future, and I really hope you find another Zed one day.

Really sad to see another Zed go by the wayside. Feel for u mate, but Gary is right as you know, family first. Its a love hate relationship with these cars..u luv em and spend time and effort on em, but they seem to be in a hurry to rust away at the slightest opportunity..

Cheers everyone.

I will definitely be back in a zx one day, hopefully next summer.

A House is definitely gonna be my next purchase tho, although one stipulation in our house remit is that it either has or can have a decent size garage built which is driving the other half nuts as it counts out alot of houses she likes, lol.

Mate, gutted for you regarding your car. Good to hear that you are narrowing down the house search by ensuring that a garage is part of the deal.

With a garage, you get a man cave

With a man cave, you need space for tools

With tools, you need to use them

To use them, you need a zed!

Hopefully one day.

A man Cave is always gonna be a priority.

Have had a offer accepted on a property and am hoping to be moved in within a couple of months. It doesn't have a good garage but has a good 70ft long rear garden so more than enough room to build a healthy 28ft wide x 20ft deep garage which will be specifically built for my next zx.

Ah nice, good idea, after all who wants a seventy foot garden. Build the man cave and you have less grass to cut which in my mind means more time to mess around with what you eventually put inside the garage.

Good luck with the house move mate.

My zed looks a lot better now thanks to you and the sad end of your car as I'm sure do several others.

Cheers mate

The z Cave will be my number 1 priority once we get sorted.

Something about a z that's hard to let go of.

I know exactly what you mean mate, had my first z when I was 22, had to sell it to fund a move to Spain for a while, I always promised myself another one and now I have! I drive many different cars at work and I can honestly say that none of them make me smile like the z! Even though some may be faster or stop better or be better on fuel, they just don't drive like a z! Good luck mate!
