If you cut the banjo fitting off the pas pipe on the left i guess you would have to flare the pipe end, i dont know if this is under any pressure in operation, a crimped end to the hose and a banjo fitting suggests it is but to be safe i would flare it to stop it popping off after youve clamped it to the other hose.

good point indeed that's what I will do then what the best way to flare the pipe cave man style as don't have a pipe flare tool

Dan after looking at pic i will knock you one up over the weekend mate:wink:

that's would help a lot

Just cut the pipe where the red line is with saw etc, and undo jubilee type clip where purple line is pull the pipe out and stick red line in purple one...

It has a jubilee type clip one side so if pressure was that high it would blow that off...

Mines been like above a long while never had a problem, just replaced standard jubilee thing with a normal jubile and I never bothered flaring the pipe...

tell ye what will cut it and ram it in deep and use 2 jubilee clips

:nono: we dont do that sort of bodge around these parts mate...leave it in my good hands.

ok tell you what will take the bolts out and bring em up so you can see the thread sizes

If you look at the clip on the right its got a bump in the hose, i recon thats the flare on the other pipe, better safe than sorry, a pas pipe coming off while driving is not a good thought. It probably wont but hey better safe in my book.

It will not come off lol, jeff said to do it the same way when I bought an na rear end...

Theres a jubilee clip thing there allready, if it was really high pressure it would not be jubilee clipped on.

To be worried about jubilee clipping it better get rid of the original one the other side of the silly scruffy looking metal thing lol...

I would remove it cut it of flare it and clean it

you dont want any swarf going round your pump it will kill it

as with all pipes fluid or air it will need swaging or flaring otherwise you riding on time or luck before it comes of or seeps

so procedure is remove cut flaire or swage even have a lip welded on if you want refit and secure with one jubilee clip and torque clip to correct setting
