They,re not a perfect fit , they have more of a curve in then than originals so the middle sits proud , i filled my lower panel to lose the obvious gap but i was restoring the car at the time so it was the easy solution for me .HTH

Also the black colour of the plastic isn,t quite the same shade as the centre panel , all that said i really liked them !!

'Genuine'? Don't think they've been copied.

My take on them as I have seen a number of them fitted. They're 'ok', but their fitment isn't that great. The curve of the lights is more acute than that of the rear curve of the hatch area and they appear to 'bulge'. The quality is a 'ok', but the bezel outline is poor, doesn't angle correctly, is too thin and you can see intermitant red outlines around the black bezel. As a style, there is no matching centre panel, you use your existing one which is different. The only way go get round that would be to paint your rear panel gloss back.

I personally wouldn't fit them for the reasons above. They are LOT nicer than the round rear light conversions, but I'm not a massive fan of them, but they don't bother me at all. :)

Cheers guys think I will spend the extra and go for the oem ones.

Good idea mate.....

....The crystal ones aren't bad - but if you are on a budget, you'd be better of buying a set of converted ordinary rear lights from Phutumsch. If he has any to sell that is...

You could always ask JeffTT or Mark Derby if they have a 2nd hand set on a breaker, but they probably get sold very quickly. If you have decided to buy new, give Mike at MJP a call - he will probably be a bit cheaper than Zcentre; plus you'll be supporting a (very good) trader!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
