Based on it age it will have Electric Hicas, rather than Hydraulic. Which is why there is no Hicas solenoid in engine bay.

Manual boost controller pipe work is a bit untidy..not a big thing but what else has been "lashed" together. It would be getting close to bang on the money at 3K iff it was manual but being auto and given its paint theme i see it a bit over priced by about £500. Just my thoughts.

thanks thats me banged to rights. live and learn a.

I think most car dealers over price these cars, This is no exception.

The paint work/colour scheme suggests to me its had a knock and instead of having the new parts repainted, they have just taken a few more parts from the breaker to make it look like it was done on purpose.

Don't really know what those hoses hanging over the top of the rad are all about either.

Also take into account that Its a long way for you to come if it turns out to be a lemon.

If there is someone near ilford who was willing to go and have a look for you, then that seems like a good place to start

It's a series 4 so has electronic hicas.

Not too bothered about paint as will have new front and rear bumpers as well as new skirts.

They looked like veilside evolutions IMO because after seeing them on Mandy's and Simons car they look the same

I could possibly go and have a good look at this for you matey. Time is a little scarce at the mo so the earliest I could view it would be the 14th of this month, possibly the 6th but very much depends on work.

I do recognise the car, I'm sure it belonged to a club members at some point? Looks like a tidy example (once all the same colour!) from the pics but I would personally want to remove the interior rear quarter panels to have a proper look inside the sill sections before investing considering the reasons you're buying.
