Firstly I hope everyone had a merry xmas, secondly I'd like to wish you all a very happy new year!

What's everyone's plans tomorrow night, we're not going out anywhere as such but we are planning on taking the dogs up to the river bank with a bottle or 2 of Asti and going to sit and watch the fireworks go off and see the new year in.

Whatever you are doing have fun :)

Me and the other half are staying in as we have a 10 month old, but seems our 15 year old has a better night life then us and she's off to a party at friends and im the taxi at midnight

We have an 18th and 50th birthday to celebrate so will be out. I will wish everyone a very happy and prosperous New Year 2014.

Just in with shell and charlie, early night and up early on wed morning for a new years day parkrun, 5k my pb so far is 23:16 so would be nice to start the year with a new pb but ive been ill recently and havent ran for 3 weeks lol

Got the Mini me's till the 2nd. so i'll just be staying in watching the TV i'd imagine. maybe a movie with the girls... proper rock and roll!

Never had much luck going out on New Year's Eve. One year I bobbed to the loo but the queue was so long, by the time I got out I'd missed it! Once I had tickets to a trendy pub, but when we got there it was full and everywhere was ticket only. Finished up in some ropey hotel in our skimpy girlie outfits surrounded by pensioners. No New Years kisses given that year. Then there was the year my mate had a blazing row with her bf on the stroke of midnight. We ended up leaving and had to walk about 5 miles before we got a cab. And the year we went to very posh Alderley Edge (where footballers live!) my mates mum was supposed to pick us up but got drunk and didn't bother and left us stranded!! I'm off to my mums armed with a couple of bottles of sparkly wine :-)

Off down the local just me and the missus. There is a live band on too so hopefully they are better than the Elvis they had the other year!

Off to Banstead to stay with friends, we alternate most years and manage to consume an unholy amount of Bacardi during the night!! turning 50 in the new year so taking longer to recover! Lol.....won't stop me though!

All the Kids will be staying up for the first time to see in the New Year......could be interesting for them! :devil2:

A Very Happy, Healthy and prosperous 2014 to you all.

Not a lot. NYE is an anti-climax. Probably going round to a friend's house. Last NYE was spent in South Africa, the previous two years in California - dodging the storms going from bar to bar paying excessive amounts to get in doesn't really fill me with excitement.

Happy New Year though.:)

...

Very good. Just how I feel!

I'll be better once I've sunk a whiskey or 2.

quiet nite in spent all my money on my car and more to come a coplule of tinnes for my other half two of the three kids in front of tv. happy new year to everybody on here. back to work friday . have it large

Just in from work with the missus. Curry, quick Scotch and bed.

I'm just staying in with the missus. My boy wants us to wake him up so he can watch the fireworks on the telly at midnight.

Bad thing is, my missus is making me watch that tw4t Gary Barlow before hand :( can't stand him! He's such a stuck up bell end!!

spent it at home as missus was working till 11pm and im up for work at 4:30am.

So had a happy 6hrs in the garage valeting the car.

At least it will start the new year looking good.

Just got back from spending a few days in Cornwall.....

.....The hotel laid on a special New Year's Eve 7 course dinner; with a different wine to accompany each course. Then it was down to the bar to see in the New Year with a few more drinks....:pint:

All very civilized of course:wink: I hope you all had a great time and I wish you all the best for 2014!!

Richard:cool:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
