Been on the lookout for a sub 2k zed to re shell my current one and come over this :

Apart from been 3k and in need of a paint job it looks good but I spotted something

very rare and likely not so many people even know about.

Can you spot it ?

Give you a clue this is a series 4/5 zed that had a few additions to earlier versions.

cheers

sayers

Depending on exact Manufacturing date its either a series 2 or 3.

On the original subject of this thread...the rear mat is in the front. That's all I spotted!

That's the ugly steering wheel.

3k for a late spec car? Is it non turbo? Or is the shell really that tatty? Sounds cheap to me.

I'd say the airbag makes it a series 3

Good point, but then again it was optional on the S2 lol. Sayers, do you know what month in 93 it was built?

Would that tell you what series or month it was made though si? It also looks like the '93 zeds don't exist lol.

What about this link? Not sure how accurate it is...

  • 2 weeks later...

As stated above, the stalk duly arrived from CZP so today I fit, easily inside 30 mins all in.

Part Number 25551 - 47P00

Here is the opening for it.

With the column cowl removed you can clearly see the space for it, all I had to do was look through my bag of OEM screws/bolts and find a couple that were identical to the indicator stalk ones and screw it in, you can see I am supporting the multi plug already there in the loom for it .

And here we are all back together. like Jaikai I don't actually have cruise on my series 4 but I now have this and a light pod with the cruise control button so retro fitting is a possibility if I wish to take it any further, I know when I hit the pod button I do get a cruise light come on in the clocks. I might in fact buy the actuator next with the throttle cable, I do also believe I need pedal switches, and a ASCD module.
