Shopping is a necessity for me. I do it only when I have to. If I fart a hole in my pants, a pair of pants is all I'll buy. Just like going to the loo, I'm in and out as quickly as possible. I never sit on the pot!

PMSL - but yes mate; I too only shop when I have to....

....Food etc in order to live; and clothing when I need something. I hate the whole shopping experience and also like to get it over with as quickly as possible!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

The Christmas we have now has nothing to do with religion. Just spending!

However I enjoy this time of year because there is a lot of money to be made by people like me at the expense of dead-head parents.

I love it. I enjoy spoiling the mrs and all the family during Christmas. I try to give back at this time of the year, I am always being helped for the other 364 days of the year so to see them all smiling is something I'm more than happy to spend all my money on(keeping a sneaky few quid aside for another service on the zed though  ) I completely agree having Xmas rammed in your face in October is ludicrous, I work in retail so I have it worse than most. But it's the way the country is during this time. Advertising marketing and just pure business. But without this time of year and all the money generated there would be a lot less jobs flying around :) think positive and try to enjoy it.

I am thinking positive by thinking it will all be over soon

Time for Easter then

I'm not a fan of Christmas now that I'm an adult. Being single, my friends 100miles away with there families, my Mum in a care home due to botched aftercare by the NHS and an estranged sister who hasn't spoken to me for 2 years, I don't feel very "christmasy" at all tbh. Don't get me wrong if you've got kids etc then yes it can be a very special time. However, the fact that we have it shoved down our throats from mid October AND all the crappy adds, especially the perfume ones! I'm mean jeeez they are so full of pretentious shite that I feel like vomiting my spine out etc..etc..

Anyway... ...If your enjoying Christmas then I sincerely hope you have a great time. But I'll be glad when it's all over.

Totally agree. Whilst I have no kids and currently have no plans in having any, I did the bulk of my stuff online. Christmas shopping in a high-street/shopping centre environment is my idea of absolute hell. I did in fact face it today, but I got up early and drove to Bristol just to get one item for the ex-misses/misses/whatever-she-is. NO MORE!

Online is the way to go:yes: I went into Belfast City center last week and the first shop June and I went into was absolutely packed with ques to the tills 40 plus feet long! I quickly escaped to a coffee shop and texted June where to find me. Its mad out there maaaaad I tell you dont go out till it all dies down.

my xmas is all year round as I don't live with my gf so smiles all year round I feel sorry for all you guys that live with your gfs or wife and smiths be glad your single its a fact girls ruin everything that's a fact

Yeah, I must have the bestest missus. She has put up with all my shite for years ! 30 next year !

The secret mate, is to take your time and pick the right one ?

Wee bit like purchasing a Zed really ? Imports are ok, but can have unknown history. Ignore those that have been around the block, or had a few owners in the past !

Dont take one that breaks down too often or appears to be too good to be true ! (usually are)

Never rush in, the right one will present itself ! Dont get one from Ebay !!! (shudders)

Service history is important. You dont want just anybody poking about in it ??

And last, but not least, there for life, not just for a wee quick ride !

Alan............

my girl friend has very low miles indeed and only 1 owner from new full service history but is still a pain in the arse at times

yes always breaking down and giving you head ache and taking all ye money and some times you like to screw it

Xmas to me is having a week away from licking customers arses...no phone ringing...not seeing my workers sour hard done by faces..reading all the "i hate Xmas" stuff while feeling very lucky of a great wife and kids and in good health with no debt hanging over us. Now piss off you life hating bassteds and start smiling before you ruin my Xmas:tt2:

The blonde? We've been on and off for about 10 months.

We split up in Feb after 2 years and we've been on and off since. Things are pretty good at the moment - seeing where things go I guess. No pressures.

You must be a right arse to live with. You anal Xmas hating hairy bum lover :lol:

Wax mate! Shaving comes back worse. Just the balls that get the razor treatment.
