A friend sent me this picture today. Clearly it's photoshopped but I personally think it looks quite good (certainly different). So which one of you out there would know how to go about making a light panel like this one?

I don't personally like it, reminds me of a Saab. Anyways, Andy Isherwood had a custom one piece pannel made, it housed some 4 pot lights, same idea though. I think the way to do it is get a piece of acrylic or Perspex cut to shape/size, then painted the black sections in. Then 4 led strips worked in behind. Two red, brake light and tail light followed by indicators obviously a short strip each side then a final one bottom centre to create a reversing light.

i like that, although it would need to have a 300zx led light in the middle centre as its the trademark of a zx rear end and should remain on it.

Oooo.now then, that's nice but i have seen another I like better and I'm still banging it around in my head how to make it.AAARRRGGGhhhhhh..............

That is nice. Another photoshop special. Looks good but hazy on the details of them e.g. where the indicator, reverse and brake lamps are.

Picky bugger ! at least it looks cool .lol

not a fan of that. id imagine it would be quite difficult to get right as a flat piece of acrylic wouldn't follow the curves of the 3 separate pieces
