So you reckon we can do it in a day. What about tools and a clutch alignment thing?

That would be epic more the merrier

Get it done Dave, Don't break it, it's a gorgeous car. You'll regret it come the summer.

I 100% agree, fix it!!! breaking it is the very last option!!!

HAHA Im never quiet... Jeff does one? theres also a few decent ones on fleaby but make sure it will handle your power..

My clutch was only about £150 from local supplier andy page. nothing special but it's never skipped a beat. Obviously not putting the power through it that you will be though.

Where is it kev? would he mind if the car was on longer than a day? i.e if the manifold was shot I'd have to source another one.

I'm debating taking it to jeff to get done with a few other bits, awaiting a reply to my pm with a quote.

A couple of my mechanic mates are more than willing to help but I have fears of snapping a bolt in the block and then been totally ****ed!

But as for your clutch Dave it isn't too bad a job from what I remember (obviously a good few hours) aslong as there's a long as **** extension for the top bolts and

I think a press to get the baring out then you should be laughing.

Steve, just looked to text you but havent saved your contacts in my new phone..

Haha, give me a pm bud. better typing with a keyboard. And it saves hijacking Dave's thread anymore.

Dave, seriously  you have a COTM winning car and spent far more on it than you will get, sell one of your other cars or a kidney

Yup - what Graham said......:nono:

And yes, you are a big Gaylord Dave...

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

youd be made to break her but just incase you do if you do even in our hearts yourll regret it ,if you do can i have dibs on the chiped ecu and the hard pipes

Dave hey mate, don't be crazy mate , beautiful example. If you can bring it to london heathrow on a saturday , we'll do it mate :) got all the tools ( mechanic in case you don't know ) and then we can have a nice pint and forget about this breaking gibberish :D

Don't for heavens sake fit a stock clutch, does it slip constantly or can it just not hold the power over a certain load. If the latter is the case, I know it's not ideal but do you need to do anything about it? The car will still be plenty quick with some limitation power wise until you have the disposable income to fit the correct clutch.

Alternatively put some of your products on sale, use this cash to purchase the correct clutch, the USA is going to be the place to buy cheap quality.
