Some of you may know I am on the hunt this winter for new wheels, I have found the ones I want but have some questions,

for the rears I am looking at 18x11 with a 20mm offset, does anyone else have this on rear?

Thanks, Dan

I'm looking for 10.5x19 on the rear with a +35 offset and I thought I was quite close and that's with arches rolled and pulled.

However if you can get them on I'm going for 11j!

Yea as far I can work out it will, they will be out 5cm further than stock uk wheels and so rolled arches and stretched tyres will be a must

And just under 2cm closer to the shock..

Hmm it does sound very close I'm pretty sure someone had has this wide a wheel on, and with a decent offset like that you maybe lucky, I bet they would look awesome!

they will physically bolt up, the rest is up to you around arch fouling / mods + tire selection

Once you start getting to these sizes, you need to ensure you have sufficient clearance for the hicas arm and lower wishbone. Using 19s can help clear the hicas, and aftermarket arms allow more room. Obviously the arch itself is worth attention, you need to make sure it doesn't make contact at any point. Pretty sure 11.5 or 12" is the MAX MAX without p

Popping the arch out. Are you going to run proper rubber? Or a silly stretch?

For reference, here's mine with 9.5j ET25 and arches rolled flat (tyre just misses arch by a whisker on compression). Yours will protrude an extra 24mm from that position... That's wide arch territory IMO.

Sexual chocolate right there!

Joely is that carmads spoiler you have?? If so any other pics?

what about this.

Not for me though.

Horrendous! There are more photos on SoCal Z32 facebook page. The dude that owns it lives in Hawaii. Car looks completely ridiculous not to mention, dangerous! It's on airbag suspension. Just a joke if you ask me. The whole car is a heap of dung, the only decent part of it are the rear lights. Those wheels would work with a wide-arch kit if you put correct fitting tyres on it.

We can all pray that this stupid fad of stretched tyres and stupid camber will be over soon.

Look at the whole thing. Looks like it's been put in a microwave and melted. Just plain minging. Traditionally, this appeals to dub-loving hipster types who wear flat-peaked baseball caps, baggy 'below the arse, but with a belt' jeans and those strange hoop things in their lug holes.
