I'm sure I already know the answer to this, but just in case I am being dense, I wanted to ask first.

My Zed is a '95 NA, but I am almost positive that the front nose (or at least the lip) is from a TT as it has the intercooler vents. Could someone confirm either way please as I am about to order some bits from the states ;)

Yep its got a TT front bumper on it.

Probably bodged on by a previous owner who couldnt find the correct one for it

Pity as it does spoil a very nice and very rare car

How does it spoil it ?

Its the wrong bumper .

The car is a very very rar car in this country. It is a really nice example.

It deserves to have the correct bumper on it.

IMO of course

i think it looks sweet lexx, i wouldnt change it tbf. its not exactly the most noticeable of changes on the bumper

I expect they deliberately changed to a tt bumper so it looked like a tt. Same reason people whack an m badge on there beamer.

Thanks for the confirmation that I ain't losing the plot.

I know what you mean Pete. And I do dislike that it is a TT bumper masquerading on an NA.

BUT. The whole point of asking, is that I am about to order a Stillen lip. And the NA version of that lip doesn't look great, but the TT one does. Having the TT bumper already, means the stillen lip I like will be a simpler fit.

Hi Lexx may i ask where your getting the stillen lip from? been looking for one.

Certainly does NOT spoil it. TT fascia looks infinitely better than the rather basic looking NA bumper.

And the Stillen lip builds nicely on that fact...

Most likely through Tarmac Sportz.

Funnily enough, I agree exactly with that.

I'm getting one too, any chance of combining shipping? may save a bit....

MJP was my cheapest so far but I've been debating conceptz and getting an exhaust at the same time....

For the record, I also prefer the TT bumper.....

....and with the Stillen lip added it looks better still. Even if I do say so myself!!

As for pricing, Mike at MJP is your best bet - shipping from the USA might be very expensive; but if you can wait up to a couple of months, Mike could possibly arrange delivery with his next normal order from the USA and wipe out most of the otherwise expensive freight charges. Have a word with him first, you might be pleasantly surprised!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
