Brake later, increased clutch life, greater stability on corner entry, wicked sound...

I have installed the tomfromthenorth downshift synchro rev kit :tongue_smilie:

 

The first time I drive the car I thought about doing that, took me 20'000 miles to get round to it. I tried lowering the brake pedal but couldn't. Its always been a bit too deep, I had to brake like a lunatic or wear high heels to heel toe and since fitting ss brake lines didn't have a hope.

 

I bloody hate dragging the revs up on the clutch on downshifts, feels awful, so does going on off the brakes to blip down the gears on the way into a corner. Smiling like a moron this morning, a v6 zinging up 3 times into every corner, wicked.

Port Salut would be better, more rebound and a better all-round response.

fix this to your handbrake and save yourself 2 zip ties

So far we have had:- camembert cheese and stale baguette from Si, Scouring pad / sponge from me, Port Salut from steams....

But I think a bar of soap maybe a good one for a clean get away..........:clown:

Its a second throttle lever matey so instead of having cheese all over your new shoes you can just give this lever a few fast readers wives shuffles and away you go...ime not sure who makes them i think its either Blitz or Briggs and Stratton,one of the two:wink:

I do heel toe my zed a lot, I always match the revs on the downshift. I honestly haven't had an issue, my biggest issue is the clutch is, even with the booster a bit heavy to really pop it.
