Yes Gary I would have thought that was the case as no doubt you would also want REOs to organise a network of meeting points for convoys to start and possibly merge with others all heading for the 'final destination' so to speak...

Let's 'watch this space' then

Oh yeah... I missed that :blushing:

It wants adding to the 'meet the forum team' section you know.......... :tongue_smilie:

Great ideas Rich and the Committee have been looking into a few things for next year but we need to spread the work load and get our REO's, NEO MEO and few others involved. So watch out for a few updates soon.

Agreed - and now that we have you on board as an REO for the NW, it will be good to have your involvement in the plans for the celebration!! Thanks for your support in stepping up to the plate Rich!!

Oops - now done; along with adding you and Ian to the list:wink:

Richard:cool:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

OMG I'm an REO

And that's a lot of initials!!! lol

Seriously though I'm looking really forward to working alongside Iangreenfield as NW event organisers - we hope to make this region one of the best to own a Zed!

Cheers

Rich

You can tell your other halves "I've been made an REO....... 'Really Excellent Orgasams'"........ Just hope they don't ask how the committee found this out..........lol

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

Now I'm not impatient at all, but hurry up guys  I'm excited  chomping at the bit to see what the plans are!! :biggring:

A few things in the pipeline but nothing confirmed so no use commenting on them yet and of course JAE will a big one.

May I be involved to some degree, it was my suggestion to begin with btw.

I do have some ideas, the major one being a z vs z day/weekend. An event with various competitions, show and shine, go karting, drag racing, auto solo and little silly events for the young ins. An event where we pit all fairlady models up and give out silly prizes with a family astmosphere and good times. A bit of something for everyone. The marque with the most trophies overall wins, a polished vg30 piston on a con rod makes a great cheap throphy and is topical.

Just seen this thread, should be awesome.. lets not make it in the summer holidays though as many people might be away.. Richards excuse every year lol...

I dont want to miss this one..

if no one from the NE has said they will join the team I would more than happily get involved..

mine a 90 in silver and uk which is rare

some great ideas there Steve sounds the ticket

Cheers Scott, trouble is at present that's all they are, ideas. I really think this needs to be a standalone event, that provides a wider array of options than say jae or japfest, equally an event the mrs and kids can happily come to without getting bored. That's a big plus if that can be achieved in my eye, as it means firstly more chaps will be permitted persimisson to attend under that banner and more importantly it makes them more interested.

Many members dont want to sit in a field and talk cars, many don't want to get their tyres warm. Providing multiple options nets a larger attendance.

Exactly Steve - JAE, Zedfest, Japfest etc come and go every year. Whilst we can have a bit of an extra promotion of the Z32's silver anniversary at each event next year, we do intend to hold a separate, stand-alone event just to celebrate the marque's 25th.....
