I can help where I can bud, I'm away from Friday for two weeks, but when I get back I will help. Has anyone asked Ian (Vods) if it's ok to try and set something up?

Is it worth getting hold of Nissan uk head office and point it out, they may even organize it!

That would be my first port of call if it were me organising this.

I think this is a party that should not be missed, it really should be the meet of the decade!

Count me in to come along and also if I can help in organising in any way I would feel honoured to be involved

Top Gear for sure sounds like a good avenue to explore

Don't know if they'd be interested, but maybe something the top gear boys would go for!

Good idea that!! This sounds ace!! Rattling my brain for a good location for everyone :-/

Yeah. But don't let them anywhere near the cars! You know how they like to get nice older stuff and wreck it!!

Great idea, would the police have to be told too? especially if a few hundred turn up.

Yep they would.

Agreed - we should organise something for next year to celebrate 25 years of the Z32!!!

Well as Ian (vodkashots) is NEO, perhaps we should run this by him to make sure it's ok, and to see if there is anything the club could do to promote the said event, and help in the organising. Nissan plant sounds good though, and if we could get media coverage maybe Nissan would give the cars that arrive a plaque or something to commemorate 25 years of the Z32. Just a thought.

And yup - it is one for our Voddy to start preparing for.... Nothing like plenty of notice (and no pressure)

Great idea about the "25 year comemorative plaque" too....

As for the oldest club, in the UK I guess that'd be The Z-Club; they were around catering for the early genre of Z-cars as far back as 1974 or something and have added each incarnation of the car ever since. And if I'm right with the year they started, next year will be their 40th I'm Mr Burns will be on to clarify soon.... Another reason for a joint meet?

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Correct, mr burns was heavily involved and it was then taken of by a chap from skylineowners.

Obviously, I'm happy to be involved with organising this 25 business. Not just gonna point it out and run lol. As no one else had started talks I thought I'd get the wheels in motion so to speak.
