Got to noz today, had a slight over fueling issue that was causing people behind me to have stripped paint on the bonnet, and when ever i put my foot down, i litarally left them in a cloud of black dust.

So, considering last time i had my car on a dyno it had slipping clutch and bold tyres plus running rich, it pulled 424.6bhp (engine), its time to do a bit of a guessing game as to what power im now running, now its had a tune.

(for those on facebook with me as a friend, please dont ruin it lol)

This was just a tune, with out touching the boost controller (well unless noz turned it down slightly lol)

Mods are.

- Mapped chip from Noz

- Nismo 555's

- z1 intercoolers

- Z1 oil cooler

- Custom exhaust with quite large fapping exits and no cats.

- HKS cone filter

- HKS evc1 boost controller. (was running 18psi when i went up there, was running 16psi on the way back, on high boost settings)

- GT525 turbos

I have no idea of engine mods (still non the wiser as still have no real history of the car)

Let the guessing begin.

ok may as well just spill the beans.

it peeked at 524bhp on one of the runs (thats fly HP), but was left at 508bhp as noel advised, and at a lower boost as well, 16psi (although i suspect this has something to do with the weather rather than noel turning the boost down)

Its more responsive on the road now, and more importantly smells a lot nicer for those following me and doesn't belch black smoke at people when you hit boost.

Ill leave Noel to go into the detail of things as i really have no idea how all this works.

Blimey you haven't given people the chance with you nearly posting up at midnight  based on your psi I would of said 500, so at 524 that's a very respectable figure Ian.

i couldn't be arsed waiting lol

524, was just one run, but was put back to 508, ill let noz explain, but from what he told me yesterday, basically he would run his car at that, it was safe at that, but as it was someone elses car, he aired on the side of caution (understandable). ill let him explain it better.

Richard:hyper:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Il be going for a near identical setup mate, however I'm keen to reduce lag as currently my car pretty much has none on the stock auto tubs.
