Hi All

After a VERY long time of re-prioritising, I finally think I'm ready to get to work on sorting the suspension out!

I've been eyeing up the Meister Zeta-Rs for a while and from the reviews on here think they're a good choice.

However, I understand that it's advisable to upgrade the complementary bits as well such as:

- Adjustable front and rear, top and bottom arms

- Poly bushes all around

- Adjustable tension rods

- Poly bush the rear sub frame

Where's the best place to get these parts and is there a lot of variance between the brands/models available? Obviously I'd want them to suit the Zeta-Rs as best possible.

I've only seen those for sale at Z1 Motorsports so far....

Thanks for the help!

Vig

JaiKai - which bits did you replace? The whole lot? And I assume has been good for you so far?

Taff - good point. Thinking to get HICAS lockout bar rather than elimination though...

Meister R also sell the front tension rods and adjustable f/r arms, speak to Jerrick.

Good to see someone post pics of the full kit, what did you have before? Are you happy with the performance and quality?

It was all stock before and I gradually upgraded bits and bobs but then the rear ball joints leaked

which I then decided to replace the bottom parts with the drift works stuff too.

Its now a great ride and much more responsive than it was stock; of course the Meisters help loads too.

one thing with this setup is everything's adjustable so no need for spaces if you want a better profile look.

SO I've been having a look at the DW site and being a tech noob, I've gone and confused myself! I'm not sure whether I should be replacing all the stock bits or whether there's no need to replace some bits.

My aim is to get the Zeta coilovers and upgrade any suspension bits that really need it. I doubt I'd ever track the car so just fast road use.

I Can see all of these on DW:

2 x Traction Rods

2 x Tension Rods

HICAS Eliminator Kit

2 x Adjustable Rear Camber Arms

2 x Adjustable Front Camber Arms

Front and Rear Adjustable Lower Arms

Strengthened Tie Rods & Ends

So should I really be getting them all or can I get away with just a selection?

Get all that and add the Stillen antiroll bars to the list:tongue_smilie:

Lol...cheers! Overkill much??

All it has at the moment is:

5-way adjustable shocks

Lowering springs

Still Front and Rear Sway bars

Just get the full DW handling pack, simpler and cheaper that way. http://www.driftworks.com/nissan-200sx-handling-pack-nissan-skyline-r32-gts-t.html They will do a full Z32 kit if you call I'm sure.

Cheers for the link but set on getting the Meister coilovers. May just drop them a mail querying the rest of the set though....thanks!

I think this is the kit you want then, add camber arms as an extra, everything but the coilovers

http://www.driftworks.com/driftworks-r32-suspension-kit.html

Yep, that's the one I was looking at but it doesn't save any money getting that over the individual parts. But just wondered whether I'd need to change everything as I'm not looking to track the car but I think the decision is leaning towards yes....change everything! lol

Thanks Joely! I didn't realise I could actually see them so wasn't sure what was on offer. But as you say...I've not heard anything about Cyberspeed whereas DW to seem to have a lot of feedback in their favour....

I can vouch for the quality of the Meister-R arms etc. It was one of the first things that I upgrade o my car when I bought it along with the shocks/springs.

Some pictures for you
