had a piece of small glass go in my eye once, been changing a glass pain and i always wear safety glasses when doing things like this, i removed then as i had done my bit of chopping it out, my boss was swweping up some distance away when a bit of glass pinged up and shot straight in my eye, had to go to the infirmary and had to hold my eye lids open with my fingers as everytime i blinked it would hurt like hell

i know your pain lol

oh and how do you want to send the cash prize for guessing right, you want my paypal addy?

Eeek I hate anyone going near my eyes, a needle in it sounds horrendous. I ended up with a deep cut in my eye a couple of years ago the hospital used a swab of something to peel away the skin. the pain for 2 days was unreal I don't think I managed any sleep in that time.

I would say always wear safety specs when working under a car, but in my case I had been, I took them of to get a better look when a chunk of rust hit me in the eye...... doh!

lol, couple weeks back i had to go to hospital to get rust out of my eye from lying under the zed welding.

Im like you, hate anything to do with eyes and seeing a dirty gert needle heading for it was murder !

After getting countless bits of rust in my eye from the Zed and at work grinding welding ect & the dreaded needle at the hosp without blinking,

some good piece of advice i was given i would like to pass on....... you only have one pair of eyes so take care of them

now i always wear saftey specs under the car or goggles at work, 2 mins of hassle putting them on saves hours in the hosp waiting room and that bloody long 5mins without blinking
