Hi all,

Just got back from picking up my new 300zx. I bought it from Andy Puttick, very nice guy - car seems very genuine, drove from Westbury to Bristol without missing a beat. Fingers crossed that continues. Got a trip to York this weekend and hope things continue working well! Slightly nervous about venturing on a 4 hour trip in a car I've only just bought, but hey lifes for taking risks I reckon...

Looking forward to getting out in the sun with it over next few months, before tucking it up over the winter. Its a UK spec black 93 TT auto. Few little bits and peices to tidy up, but they can wait for a while.

Can anyone reccomend a decent garage in Bristol for general servicing etc? Would quite like to get someone to give it a once over to check for any impending problems (which I hope there are none - although I'm well aware that these things take money to keep on the road!).

Cheers

Harve

Welcome to the forum buddy. If you subscribe it will be the best money you ever spent, lots of help and advice on here. A bit of a run for you, but ZedWorld in Birmingham/Coventry are brilliant, and well worth the trip for you.

Welcome, fortunately you've joined quite an active area joint meets between this area and the south coast are fairly common and You've got powerzed not far from you who is the leading engine builder for these cars in the country. Don't worry too much about long distance that's what these cars were made for, just make sure all your fluids are topped up before you leave, and if it is a twin turbo model don't rag it about too much until you get a good service on those fluids and hoses, to prevent any overheating accidents, which seeings as its been purchased from a club member has probably been done. Congratulations on your purchase.

Some pictures, forgot I had a photobucket account... a few pictures nicked from the advert. A few marks and scuffs around the corners etc. Plus some blistering on two of the arches. Apart from that its pretty clean.

Just got back from jimmers, absolutely great, thanks mate! Gave the car a clean bill of health, other than a crusty front cross member and a couple of other spots of minor rust everything else looked pretty good. So am pretty pleased!

Got free ice cream too... Then got covered in exhaust from the other zed in the workshop which looked like a scary beast with flames out the back!

Hello & welcome! Nice Zed :)
