Take 2 good turbo,s that were perfect and none smoking, producing good boost to have 360,s fitted and a bit of tweaking on the housing and blade fronts...fitted them and put the motor in over the w/end and then brought the oil pressure up with the fuel pump fuse out and after good oil pressure let it fire up and idle for 5 mins to be confronted by so much blue smoke i thought ide had a cataract over my 2 eyes. Got under the car and noticed oil weeping from the exhaust housing side on both tubs:angry:...Took the down pipes off and found this...to say ime pissed right now is an understatement, looks like he,s forgot to fit the seals:eek: please Discuss:yes:

Same here.....

.....unbelievable mate:sad: I hope you get it sorted mate,

Richard:clover:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

that's a lot of oil, blue though......? id expect very thick grey/white smoke, the exhaust seal tends to cause this as the oil isn't combusted, merely vaporised. if its blue its being combusted, have a good look through your intake tract. who sorted the tubs for you? I really feel for you mate, been here myself.

So after banging my oil filled downpipes on the counter of my turbo recon "expert" He goes on to try tell me theres nowt wrong with his turbo,s:headvswal....After 15 mins of being re-educated about his future health and welfare if i dont get sorted he turns to his partner and says "i wonder iff its them circlips that gave us trouble before":censored:....told him the tubs will be on his workbench next week and i want to be there as they are opened up for inspection....to be continued;)

Is it a well-known place? Just so I can be sure never to go there, or recommend the place to anyone by mistake. Zeds are hard enough work as it is.

PM me if you'd rather :)

either hes full of caka or hes not using the right terms, there is only one "circlip" in the core, this holds the front plate on, theres no hardship to it, its easy to access and even cleared poled. inside each bearing id held inplace by a circlip type things which has another name. neither of these would allow or cause oil to pass. either they have damaged the rear sealing face of the core or the real seal itself is ****ed!

It's even more frustrating when it's other peoples shoddy work that causes you problems. You drove past me today Bri. Im working on a house on The Wiend, off borough road. I was in the van having a cuppa.
