  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Missed not having my Zed anymore!

Why oh why did I have to sell her!? I hate having to make the "right" decision, especially when it feels so wrong

Finished fitting my whiteline ARB's, broke a rear drop link Friday during instal. Shops were closed so it stopped play, the whiteline bar uses a vertical mount rather than the horizontal mount of the stock ones. Anyway after some thinking I thought 200sx front drop links might work with some minor modification, which were on the shelf at euro car parts.

They fitted like a glove, no modification required at all. Much sharper turn in and much flatter through the corners now.

Got me some Volks...

Yup they suit that car pretty well, where did you source them from?

Where did you buy these from Steve? one thing my build is missing atm.

Thanks

Got my manual conversion bits together, nice surprise finding a Nismo Gmax twin plate clutch & flywheel combo!

£250 on ebay, with good rubber. Collected them from North London this morning. Rears are 17" x 9.5JJ and fronts are 8.5JJ. Tyres are 225 all round so the back stretch looks stupid IMHO. Anyway, can't complain for the money and fine to use on my test day next week.. Then I'll get my 255s back on the rear!

He got them from me, ps they are stillen ones

;) I did indeed. That's my next project lol.

I thought that's what you said, I had it in my mind stillen ones were red though for some reason.

I went to work in the Z today and came home the long way (they definately arer not cheap commuter cars cos they make you do that)... then decided to sort out and sell the accumilated z bits I no longer need.... hope fully they will be in adverts on here over the next day or so.

Put on my HID's purchased on here from Phutsum.. phustum..phut well you know him, best £25 i've spent. Easy to fit, fantastic result. I can now see in the dark!! Everyone should do this, dont muck about with bulbs...

Rich

Sounds like someone's fitted a set of uk clocks and left the converter in there.

Yep they had, but now have the annoying bing bong at 70mph+........ was annoying all the way too and from Japfest...... had to crank up stereo to mask it.....:whistling:

Trying to work out way to kill the noise for high speed only??

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

The maximum speed permitted here in mainland Britian is 70mph so I dunno why that would be an issue, obviously you don't speed. Alternatively find the dammed bonger and remove it :) most aftermarket ecu's dump that bong and remove the speed limiter opening up the full 170 odd mph of the car, which is obviously highly usefull on the M4 lol

I love the m4 its a fantastic slalom corse, dodging the pot holes at 80 is fun enough let alone 170+ lol, bloody roads.

Started stripping the new subframe today, I hate, hate, hate the lower arm ball joint.

Been there, done that. :lol::lol::lol:
