  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

I’m wanting to get my tank and straps powder coated. I managed to get a brand new guard for it a few years ago (the tin thing that sits in front of it). My straps are in very good condition thankfully, but would like everything refinished. Quite like to get the filler neck re-plated.

Dave, have you got a build thread? I wish more of our subscribed members had one, I think it would help with subscription if we did have more as new registered members would see these “teasers” and want to know more.

No, I always meant to set up one as my car has come along way. Just never actually set it up!

Very true, if I get some time soon. I'll put something together and try and remember roughly everything I've done. Like I said, I wished I had done it but always ended up adding things to this thread instead!

Took the old girl out for a quick run before putting her away for a couple of weeks while we are away......all I can say is WOW!! Ever time I squirt that throttle and release all them torques it's fantastic...I can't tell you how well jimmer has built this missile thank you jimmer it's contagious :tt1:

Had a visit from the local mobile AC regas guy today, zebedee now has fully functioning AC, no leaks and even the condenser fan still works as it should. I'm a very happy and cool bunny.

…..But on Saturday, I fitted my newly acquired third brake light (thanks Tom.....)…. And on Sunday, I filled the Zed with fuel and took a trip to Waterperry - just a little trip, mind, but at least I have the obligatory pictures (@JP - LOL)....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

You have it looking extreamely well now Richard and love your new wheels.

Thanks Gary....

There are a couple of bits on the paintwork that need putting right - but nothing major; and still have to replace my DD-radio surround (which I have in the garage). Oh, and get it to Jimmer for a new cambelt and AC regas…. But otherwise yup; happy to be back in the Zed again...

Today, I finally fitted my new double-DIN radio bezel....

….The CZP item is a much better fit and finish that the Z-ThirtyTwo one I had previously....

Looking fresh Richard

I got round to fitting my Series 2 PTU as I found that my old one had started to play up. I also relocated it under my nose panel.

Can an admin please issue a 7 day ban for this post not having a pic attached! Rules are rules Dave! [emoji28]

Haha, I did it yesterday and never took one!

Good feedback Richard, I think I’ll get one of those myself.

7 likes on the pictures of this product. I’m wondering if there may be much demand for a group buy?

I’m not convinced CZP really offer group buys? Their customer service is awesome so it wouldn’t take long to find out. Im sure Coz or Nick do shifts at the keyboard answering questions at 3am!

There would potentially be benefit to combining orders for shipping either way though. [emoji6]

Do it JP.... I think the CZP one is the same as Interior Innovations'. It's not perfect, in the same way as the OEM item - but this one feels like it's made from a better grade of plastic and it just fell into place..... They also supply the centre screw cover in a matching finish.
